NCHMCT JEE 2020 Exam Analysis

NCHMCT JEE 2020 is one of the first national-level entrance exams that was conducted when COVID-19 pandemic has reached its peak in India. The National Testing Agency (NTA) conducted NCHMCT JEE 2020 from 3 pm to 6 pm today, August 29. NTA ensured that all necessary safety measures were in place for conducting NCHMCT JEE 2020 across 86 test cities in the country.

A three-hour duration test, NCHMCT JEE 2020 was conducted as a computer-based test (CBT). The questions asked in NCHMCT JEE 2020 were along expected lines and the test pattern was similar to that of past years’ papers of this hospitality entrance exam. The test paper was not difficult to attempt but most of the students were paranoid about appearing for the exam at their allotted NCHMCT JEE exam centre amid COVID-19 pandemic.

NCHMCT JEE 2020 Exam Pattern & Marking Scheme

There were no changes in NCHMCT JEE 2020 exam pattern or marking scheme for the paper as compared to last year. There were a total of 200 questions that aspirants had to attempt in 180 minutes duration. Total weightage for NCHMCT JEE 2020 exam was 800 marks. There was negative marking in the hospitality entrance exam.

NCHMCT JEE 2020 Analysis of Numerical Ability and Analytical Aptitude Section

Basic school-level Mathematics questions were asked in the Numerical Ability section of NCHMCT JEE 2020. Some of the topics from which questions were asked include Time and Work, Time-Distance-Speed, Work and Wages, Simple Interest, Compound Interest, Area of Triangles & Rectangles, Percentage & Laws, HCF, LCM, and Ratios.

NCHMCT JEE 2020 Analysis of Reasoning and Logical Deduction Section

This section of NCHMCT JEE exam consisted of questions that were simple and could be solved by applying basic logic. Questions in this section of the exam were asked equally from almost all the topics. Some topics from which maximum questions were asked were Blood Relations, Number Series, Verbal Reasoning as well as Statement and Assumptions.

NCHMCT JEE 2020 Analysis of General Knowledge & Current Affairs Section

This section comprised questions from static GK from subjects such as History and Science There were also many questions on recent happenings in India and the world.

NCHMCT JEE 2020 Analysis of English Language Section

As is the case every year, the English section of NCHMCT JEE exam consisted of Reading Comprehension and Vocabulary questions. Each Reading Comprehension passage was followed by 4-5 questions. Vocabulary questions were from topics such as Antonyms, Synonyms, Mark the Correct Word/ Sentence, Fill in the Blanks, etc. The questions asked in this section of NCHMCT JEE 2020 were of Class 12 level.

NCHMCT JEE 2020 Analysis of Aptitude for Service Sector Section

This section of NCHMCT JEE exam consists of questions related to the hotel industry. This was the easiest section of the exam but the only thing to keep in mind while attempting the Aptitude for Service Sector section of NCHMCT JEE 2020 is that there is graded marking in this section and students need to justify why they have selected a particular option in each question asked.

After submitting, take at least 4 printouts of the confirmation page. Also print proof of fee paid and keep extra photos same as uploaded. Keep them safe for future.

Better take 6–8 colored passport photos with white background. Keep them safe, you may need them during form, admission or counselling.

You must scan your passport photo and signature. Photo 10–200 KB, signature 4–30 KB, jpg/jpeg only. Photo should show 80% of face, no mask, white background.

It depends on your category. General and OBC Non-Creamy Layer – ₹1000, EWS – ₹700, SC/ST and PwD – ₹450, Transgender – ₹450. Check carefully before paying.

Yes, there is. General, EWS, OBC – max 25 years as of July 1, 2026. SC, ST, and PwD – also max 25, but different birthdate cutoff. Check category rules carefully before applying.

You can apply if you passed 10+2 or similar exam. English must be there in your study. Even if you're appearing for 10+2 this year, you can apply, but final admission needs pass certificate.

Fill your category, address with PIN, and choose exam cities. Then pay fee online through card, net banking, UPI, wallet, whatever works. Keep fee receipt safe. After payment, print acknowledgment page for future.
