Most of the students shared that the questions asked in the exam were not as scary as the atmosphere of their test centre. Neelam shared that, “This was the first time I stepped out of my house since the lockdown. I was very scared to touch anything even my computer. But the centre had everything in place and lots of sanitizers were readily available. But I used my own sanitizer only”.
Along same lines, Shweta who gave NCHMCT JEE exam in Kolkata said, “I was really nervous of giving the exam at a test centre. Till the very last moment I was in two minds whether to give the test or not. But I did not want to miss a year of studies, so I went ahead”. She further added, “But once I reached the test centre, I saw everyone was maintaining distance from each other and enough arrangements were done to ensure that everyone was safe”.
“There were sanitizers at the test centre but I was so worried of using the rough sheets that were given. How can anyone sanitize those? By the time I reached my exam hall, half of the bottle of sanitizer provided there was over. Luckily I was carrying my own sanitizer and used that”, shared Shaleen from Jharkhand.
On the other hand, Nitya who took the exam in Noida said, “What has to happen will happen. I did not let COVID-19 take the better of me. I gave the exam thinking I am living in a COVID free world and that helped raise my spirit while attempting NCHMCT JEE exam”.
NCHMCT JEE 2020 Test Pattern & Difficulty Level
Most of the students felt that the Reading Comprehension passages were a bit long and they struggled a bit to complete the paper on time. But all the students were able to complete their NCHMCT JEE 2020 exam on time.
Talking about his exam, Atul shared, “It was good, kind of easy. GK section was a bit tough because one has to be very regular with it and study a lot. Rest all exam sections were easy. Aptitude for Service Sector section was a bit tricky but I always find its questions to be this way. Since there is graded marks for this section, one really needs to think through and score maximum marks. Other than this section, the difficulty level of all other exam sections was mediocre for me”.
Neelam said, “My exam went good but I found it to be too long. I just managed to finish the paper in the nick of time. The Maths section was good, Logical Reasoning section was a bit difficult and Aptitude section was ok. Rest all the sections were good for me”.
“The paper was nice but I faced difficulty while solving the Mathematics questions as they were tricky. All the other sections were very easy”, shared Nitin Madan.
Elaborating about the difficulty level of NCHMCT JEE 2020, Yash Dogra was quoted as saying, “Overall the exam was fine. But I felt that the Numerical Ability section was tough. There were long calculations to be done in questions asked in this section. The Logical Reasoning section was good. My reading speed is good so the English section was easy for me”.
Wanting to secure admission at IHM Delhi, Vartika said that NCHMCT exam was easy but the “Comprehension questions were a bit lengthy. Maths was not that difficult but time consuming. Logical reasoning was easy. GK was a little tricky”.

Around 4 to 6 months of regular study is enough for NCHMCT JEE preparation. If basics are strong, even 2–3 months focused preparation can work.

A rank below 5000 is considered very good rank in NCHMCT JEE. Ranks up to 8000–10000 can still get decent colleges depending on category and availability.
