Satisfied with the campus life and the English faculty.
Placements: Placements at Janki Devi College are pretty decent. They have a dedicated placement cell that provides career opportunities. Regular internship opportunities with flexible locations are shared with students, and workshops are conducted as well. Around 50%–70% of students in the English Honors course get placed. The top roles offered are in content creation and teaching.
Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure at JDMC are above average. The classrooms are spacious, and the library, computer labs, and common room for girls are fully air-conditioned. The food in the canteen is safe and tastes good. The library has Kindles and laptops available for our use. We can also issue books every week.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, knowledgeable, and extremely cooperative. The course is relevant, with workshops that help us enhance our skills. Exams are moderate to difficult and consider all students. Teaching quality is excellent, with great explanations and effective communication.
Other: I chose this course because I have always been fond of literature and reading. The best thing about my course is the cooperative faculty.

Worth being in North campus.
Placements: The highest package is 5-8 LPA and the lowest is 2.6 LPA. The average salary package offered was 4-5 LPA. Top companies include corporate and consulting organisations like EY, Accenture, Genpact and Concentrix. Top roles include Media, publishing, and content creation.
Infrastructure: We have a language lab which plays a significant role in improving all three important skills like writing ans, grammar, and speaking. Secondly, we have a huge Library which is full of books having vast endorsement for literature. Moreover, we have different societies that are completely dedicated to literature, like Rhetoric Society for English debating, iridescent for writing and shakespeare club and many more.
Faculty: The English department of Janki Devi Memorial College has one of the best faculty setups. They are highly educated and approachable. I guess the curriculum is relevant, and it's so much of use to do Eng Hons, as in the real world you would be able to interact efficiently, and Eng Hons teaches you that.
Other: I chose the course because I love speaking English.

Janki Devi Memorial College review.
Placements: Janki Devi Memorial College is renowned for its English Department, as its faculty is one of the best in the University of Delhi. Hence, student placement is most diligent here. So, future recruitments are made easier given the benefits of the college. Further opportunities given by our college allow students to improve their profiles.
Infrastructure: The college is rather slow compared to other DU colleges. There are smartboards and podiums in classrooms, but the lack of air conditioning decreases comfort. Our library is top-notch, but at the same time, the canteen needs major improvements. The administration is well-structured.
Faculty: Teachers are the best part of my college experience, and the only reason I chose not to migrate to another college. Many books in our curriculum are edited by these same teachers who teach us in this degree. Their knowledge and insight are extremely helpful for a literature student to expand their thinking ability. I believe the curriculum provides all that is necessary. I personally haven't had to face any difficulties in the processing of examinations as well.

I am quite satisfied with the facilities provided by this college.
Placements: Janki Devi Memorial College provides a good placement. Right now, I am only in the first year, so I don't have much knowledge about the placements. But have read some reviews about the college and they all state that the college placements are average. However, for some courses placement are more than average.
Infrastructure: The college infrastructure and maintenance are great. It is not that large as some other colleges, but the college is surrounded by greenery. We can see a lot of animals which are actually friendly here. About classrooms and buildings, we can hardly find any area that is not clean. Library is well-built with lots of books and many other articles, newspapers, etc. I live in the college hostel and a neat and clean environment is maintained in the hostel also.

Other: Professors in this college are really helpful. When I started attending classes at first, I was confused because the pattern of teaching changed from school to college. At that time, our professors helped us a lot. They taught us really patiently. They also approach those students who seem perplexed. The professors of this college are really good. Teachers are friendly and approachable. They listen to students.

It is okay, would not really recommend.
Placements: Almost no students got internships, and those who did were not at renowned companies at all. But anyway, it's a failure to expect internships or anything from Delhi University. I have no idea about the other questions, so I can't really say much about it.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is fairly good in comparison to other DU colleges. The sports facility is also okayish. No Wi-Fi network and data works poorly in college. Classrooms are good. The library is also good, though classrooms don't have ACs, but that's just DU. Food quality and the hostel are good.
Faculty: Teachers are good at teaching, but they are rude and don't really help students apart from class. Exams are also at a normal level, not very hard or very easy. The curriculum is good, but a little difficult. Teachers are very knowledgeable, but they don't interact as much with students.
Other: The crowd is the worst. I would not recommend taking admission in any off-campus college.

Amazing college, not good for placements.
Placements: The college is not really good for placements. Despite the existence of a placement cell, the college is very humanities/commerce oriented so many of the placements are in content, etc. Not many major companies, although it is possible to get placed.
Infrastructure: Infra for the college is decent. Smart boards aren't widely available, although they are present. AC is only available in the library. The hostel is private, but it provides a great experience despite only being available only to first-year students.
Faculty: The teachers for the English department, especially the permanent faculty, are amazing and well-read. Despite strictness surrounding attendance and difficult tests conducted, teachers will definitely provide an enriching learning environment for you.

It is an excellent college.
Placements: There are only a few students placed in our course due to limited seats. Though there aren't many placements through our course, there are many scholarships available along with many other opportunities. Many students get internships from our course, and many of them get prestigious scholarships as well.
Infrastructure: All facilities are excellent, though infrastructure can still improve. Food is great. The non-teaching staff is very considerate. The medical room is properly equipped with all the medicine students might need. Sports equipment is also available for students.
Faculty: Faculty members are well-versed in their fields. They actively interact with students and push them towards studies and other activities as much as they can. The books being given are curriculum-relevant, and exams are moderately tough and students can secure well if they study properly.
Other: I chose this course because of my personal interest in literature. I wish the infrastructure would still improve. Overall, the college is great. All the events being held are extraordinary. We are provided with excellent opportunities.

Serenity of Janki Devi Memorial College, DU.
Placements: So I am reading for a B.A. English Honours and there are more than 60 students in my batch. The highest package is between 5 LPA and 8 LPA. EY, Accenture, Genpact, Zomato, Concentrix, etc. Students who got internship from my college are about 25-30 percent through the college's opportunity cell in digital marketing agencies, publishing houses, etc.
Infrastructure: JDMC provides a highly pleasing campus known across the Delhi University for its exceptional greenery, cleanliness, and solid infrastructural backing. If we talk about the hostel it features the modern infrastructure with triple-sharing rooms which comes with attached bathrooms, essential furniture, beds, tables, and wardrobes. The mess provides meals four times a day. The food quality is decent and hygienic with a good variety of items. The canteen is good plus the cafeteria serves a standard variety of snacks and refreshment at a very subsidised rate. JDMC maintains a medical room equipped with healthcare items and the sports room is standout feature.
Faculty: The faculty teachers are highly qualified with excellent teaching quality, and very approachable outside of lectures. The DU curriculum is relevant for critical thinking and writing also leans heavily towards theoretical analysis. Semester exams are moderately difficult requiring thorough reading of the text and analytical essay writing rather than memorisation. The pass percentage is quite high with over 90-95 percent students clearing exams.
Other: It offers excellent pathways for diverse fields like journalism, creative writing, public relations, etc. Best thing about the course is that it builds deep critical thinking lively classroom debates and exposure to world literature. Area of improvement students often wish for practical modules like digital content creation, publishing workshop, etc. In events we have symphony, the annual cultural fest of JDMC, we do have individual department fests as well, like Lumina by the English department which offers space for literary quizzes, poetry slams, and panel discussions. The campus vibe is progressive and highly vibrant plus active student societies like EVAM (dramatics), etc.

I'm sorry to tell you that 59.6% is way too low for admission in any course in Delhi University. Look for some other institutions, mostly private institutions.
