Honest review about my college.
Placements: 80 percent of people got placed and others cannot match up to the minimum company eligibility criteria. The companies that visited during my time were Nagarro 4 LPA, Aricent 3.5 LPA, IVP 5.5 LPA, Thorough Good 12 LPA, Thought Works 8 LPA, TCS, and various other small firms. The average package was around 5 LPA and the highest went up to 12 LPA.
Infrastructure: Hostel facility is average, rooms are small as compared and there is a shortage of rooms too. PGs were not easily available, especially for girls.
Faculty: The course was quite good according to IT. From the point of view of the course, it was basically designed for software engineering jobs in industries. It's a unique course that covers each and every bit in software engineering. Some faculty members were good, but overall, the faculty is a little bit lower than on paper. Good infrastructure, but the placements are not good.
Placements: Around 30% of students are placed in MCA SE. The highest package offered is 11.50LPA, and the lowest package offered is 3.50LPA, and the average package offered is 6.5LPA. TCS and Yamaha are the top companies. None is currently getting an internship. Web Development and Data Analysis are key areas.
Infrastructure: In our college, there are very good labs, classrooms, and a fully air conditioned library where you can find any book. The hostel is decent, and the food in the mess is good, and the canteen food is also good. Sports facilities are excellent on campus, with basic medical facilities available. The college organizes a sports week every year in which many affiliated colleges participate.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is good. The course curriculum is relevant, making students industry ready. Sometimes, semester exams are difficult and sometimes easy. The pass percentage is about 90%.
Other: I chose this because of the non hectic curriculum and for placements. The best thing is that my course curriculum is not hectic, you can easily manage your studies. I wish that the placements would improve for my course. The college is well connected by Metro, bus, etc. The college organizes a fest called Anoogunj every year, its a 3 day long event.

Our college is decent for placements.
Placements: Around 90% of students got placed with a decent salary package. The highest salary package was 45 LPA offered by Adobe and Amazon offered 44 LPA. The lowest salary package was 4 LPA and the average salary package is 6 to 8 LPA. Top recruiting companies like Adobe, Amazon, and many good companies like CVENT, Yamaha, Alternative Path, One BCG, etc., offer good salary packages and roles. Roles offered were SDE, SDET, QA, Business Analyst, Product Analyst, Developer, Data Analyst, Data scientist, etc. Everyone was offered an internship for 6 months before a full-time offer based on performance.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is incredibly attractive. There are numerous labs and classes with Wi-Fi. An enormous library that is fully air-conditioned with a wide range of resources and can sit and study in the library. It is beautiful on 2 floors. Hostels are well-maintained and well kept. There are two separate buildings for the boys and girls hostels.
Faculty: Teachers are knowledgeable but won't be bound to complete the course so you would think that exams would be conducted after course completion. Some teachers are good and students want to attend their classes seriously because of the experience and hold of concepts they have. The course curriculum designed is good. We can opt for a new tech stack like IoT or blockchain to get hold of the latest technologies in the world. Exams are conducted would not be tough. Around 100% is the pass percentage.
Other: I chose MCA in software engineering because it was the passion I wanted to follow and all my experience is nice. I learned a lot and got ready for industry experience. There was more time because we were the covid batch, so our 3 semesters got shrunk to trimesters but we were given a month break after 2nd trimester to prepare for placements. Different scholarships are being provided to students from EWS, single girl children, and children of defense people. Fest for us was not conducted. We didn't have freshers or farewells. There are societies in which people join and grow.

USICT is one of the top-tier colleges at IPU. The facilities it provides are also very good.
Placements: Around 90% of the students in our batch have got placed. The highest package offered in our course is 44.5 LPA which was offered by Amazon and the lowest package is 4 LPA offered by cognizant. Our placement drives were conducted for almost a year and there are many recruiting companies. Top recruiters are Amazon, Tata1mg, Blackberry, TravClan, Alternative Path, Nagarro, and Thorogood.
Infrastructure: The facilities are quite good. There are Wi-Fi-enabled classrooms and labs. Other than that, this college focuses on the practicals of almost every subject. There is a very huge air-conditioned Wi-Fi enabled library where you can find any book and you can also read there. The hostel fee is also reasonable and the facilities they provide and the mess are also very good. The prices of the canteen are also very reasonable.
Faculty: Almost all the teachers on our campus are Ph.D. qualified or pursuing Ph.D. They are very helpful and cooperative. Recently in 2020, our course syllabus has been updated and the subjects they included have a huge scope for career growth. Semester exams are very easy to pass. Around 25 marks are for an internal exam and 75 marks are for an external exam. Try to score more in external exams. There is also internal choice in almost every question in an external exam. The passing mark is 40 marks out of 100 where you can also get gracing marks of 6.
Other: I had chosen this course because I wanted to go for development. The best thing about this course is that we have got the opportunity to learn the latest and most advanced course. I think the thing that should be improved is to emphasize more practicals. Different events have been organised regularly by various clubs. The annual fest Anugoonj has been organised every year.

The college is good but could be better in terms of infrastructure.
Placements: Placements in our college are good. All the major companies like Amazon and Blackstone visit our campus. But of course, you have to meet their eligibility criteria, so it depends on how hard you study. Other than that, some good companies also visit the campus.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is good. It could be better though. For example, the law building has its own library, the libraries should be provided for other streams as well. The journalism building could use a lot of work. It's just one floor, and it's not properly maintained.
Faculty: Faculty members are quite helpful but not every teacher you come across is co-operative. But at the end of the day, it depends on how much the student wants to learn. You can get your teacher to help you or switch to a different mentor. Getting proper mentoring during projects is very important for students.

Absolutely dissatisfied because of some teachers, no good fests, etc.
Placements: Placements are good. 10-15% students are recruited by a mass recruiter company. For MCA students, the placements are not at all worthy. The students are suffering a lot regarding placements. Only the B.Tech students get more opportunities here. Companies used to come a lot. They started from this year.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is excellent except the computer labs. No computers are available. A group of 50 students have to work on just 10 computers. All buildings are connected to one another through connecting channels. There is a good canteen facility. There are Mother Dairy and Amul parlours. Hostels are nearby and the infrastructure is quite awesome.
Faculty: Faculty members are helpful, qualified and knowledgeable.
You should have some potential then you will get the opportunity to interact with the faculty members.
They are motivating at all. The classes are of no use.
The course curriculum is quite good. The syllabus never gets finished on time. Teachers are not keen and interested in teaching new things. They just stick to the old curriculum.

USICT is a good college to study
Placements: Placements in USICT is not up to the mark. TCS comes here for mass recruitment and companies like IVP, Thorogood, Nagarro, Opera Solutions, ION trading, Grapecity, etc. also come here. If you have the talent, you will surely get placed. But better to try to go for NITs or DU.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of GGSIPU is great. It has a large campus including 5 blocks. The E-block is for B.Tech CSE, IT, MCA, M.Tech CSE, IT, etc.
The C-block is for law studies.
The D-block is for MBA.
The B-block is biotechnology.
It has a great hostel. There are 4 hostels. 2 for boys and 2 for girls. Hostels are great and provide a single room to students of UG and PG as well.
Faculty: Faculty members at USICT are okay. You have to study by yourself if you have a real interest in your subject. You will enjoy self-studies as this university provides many resources to achieve a target. It has a well-formed library which includes a digital lab. If you forgot to take your laptops, you can make use of digital lab and if you did not bring laptops, then also you can use this lab.

Other: The college campus is nice as it is newly built in Dwarka. The college has a nice crowd of geeks. The teachers impart practical knowledge and are not just restricted to theoretical knowledge. The studies were good and we always cleared the exams with good marks, the internals is a bit tough.
