In the WBJEE JECA, marking is done based on the question category. In Category I, 1 mark will be given for each correct answer and for every incorrect answer, a 1/4th mark will be deducted. In Category II, 2 marks will be given for each correct answer. No negative marking in Category II.
The WBJEE JECA question paper will be divided into two categories. The Category I will have 80 questions. Every correct answer will be awarded one mark. There is a negative marking of 1/4th mark in Category I.
Candidates must attempt 20 questions in Category II. For every correct answer in Category II, two marks will be given. There is no negative marking.
WBJEE JECA Practice & Exam Technique
- Solve previous past year papers to identify frequently tested concepts and question patterns.
- Regularly take up mock tests to improve your speed. Try to simulate exam pressure while doing so.

The Vidyasagar University MCA Cutoff 2025 was released in the form of opening and closing ranks for admission to the MCA course.
