JMI Entrance Exam application process is conducted online only. Candidates are required to fill the online application form on the official website of Jamia Millia Islamia. JMI application process is being conducted in online mode only since last few years. The admission forms of Jamia Millia Islamia are neither available offline nor candidates are required to send the duly filled application form to the university via post. The registration and application window will remain open for the candidate who has registered for the exam and created ID, until the last date of form submission. Yes, candidates can register for JMI Entrance Exam first and fill the application form later because once the login credentials are generated candidates have the option to login any time and complete the application form. However, candidates must avoid keeping the form incomplete for a long time to avoid last minute problems. Yes, Jamia Millia Islamia accepts NEET scores for two of their medical programmes - BDS and MBBS. NEET ranks 21,000 to 29,000 may get admissions to JMI. The average score of these ranks usually falls between 550 and 600 out of 720. 

Yes, aspiring candidates can fill the JMI 2025 application form from March 5 to April 10, 2025. The application form is for admissions to UG, PG, DIP, ADP, PGD, and CER programmes at JMI. The application correction window will be open from April 12 to 14, 2025. Post that, no corrections can be made to the JMI application form.

The JMI Entrance Exam cutoff is usually high. The total marks allotted to the test are 200 and the cutoff for most programmes is as high as 200. The range of the cutoff is 170-200 across categories. The programmes for which the JMI Entrance Exam 2024 cutoff was the highest were BA (Hons) Economics, BA (Hons) History and BSc Biotechnology (200 marks for General category students). This was followed by BA (Hons) Urdu and BA (Hons) Hindi at 194 and 188 marks. 

Aspirants must note that the cutoff marks mentioned above are for the first phase of counselling. The cutoff marks gradually decrease with each round.

In case of failed transaction only, the application fee will be refunded. Once the fee is paid successfully, no refund will be granted. Hence, the candidate should go through all the details regarding eligibility criteria, application form etc before applying for a course.

Candidates who wish to submit the application form of JMI entrance exam 2025 will have to pay the application for successfull submission. The application form fee is INR 1000/700 wherever applicable (non refundable).

The JMI Entrance Exam cutoff marks are the minimum marks required to pass the test. These are published along with the declaration of the results. The cutoff marks vary from programme to programme. Yes, candidates have to fill separate application forms for different courses offered by Jamia Millia Islamia. However, the candidates have to register themselves only once. After registration, they can apply for multiple courses by selecting the course type and course name. Candidates also have to pay the application fee for each course. Candidates are advised to read the eligibility criteria of all the courses thoroughly before applying and apply only after ensuring the same as only eligible candidates will be considered for further selection process and the application fee will not be refunded in any circumstances.

Your JMI Entrance Exam admit cards are only valid for one shift of the exam i.e. you can only take the exam once with your admit card. It is advised that you keep your admit card safe the document verification stage of your admission process.

If a candidate submits more than one application form for the same programme, JMI reserves the right to reject the application. 

Cancellation of admission will be done in the following cases. 

• If candidates fail to submit their results on or before the stipulated date or if they are unable to complete any other admission formalities before the dates set by the exam body. 
• If any information provided by the candidate is found to be incorrect or if they are wrongly admitted for any reason.
• If a candidate fails to produce academic records while filling the application and later in the admission process (counselling, document verification, etc.).

Yes candidates can edit their JMI application form after submission by following the steps mentioned below - 

• Visit the edit panel of JMI application form.
• Login using the credentials.
• Click on My Application button and edit the required corrections.
• Go through the entire form and then click on the Submit button as edits once done cannot be done again.

No, JMI does not specify a dress code to be followed while taking the JMI Entrance Exam. However, examinees must ensure that they refrain from dubious behaviour like carrying documents other than what is required (admit card, goverment-issued photo ID), checking folds of clothing while taking the exam, etc. If they are found to be engaging in activities like these, they may be booked under unfair means (UFM) and barred from taking the exam.
