The National Law University, Delhi (NLU Delhi) has declared the All India Law Entrance Test result 2026 or AILET result 2026 for admission to the BA LLB and LLM programs offered by it. AILET Answer Key 2026 

AILET 2026 answer key is now out. The AILET answer key 2026 will include questions asked in the AILET exam and their respective answers. 

Steps to Download AILET Answer Key 2026

To download the answer key, go to nationallawuniversitydelhi.in and open the "AILET 2026 Portal." You will be able to access and download the answer key as a PDF from here. The examination cell also allows the candidates to raise the objection on answer key, if error is found. 

What After AILET Result 2026? 

Your admission to the NLU Delhi in 2026 will depend on your AILET 2026 score. Once you obtain a good score in AILET 2026, you will have to follow some other steps or events that will take place after the AILET result 2026. These events or steps have been listed below:

AILET Invite List 2026

The AILET invite list is for candidates who have been shortlisted to participate in the AILET counseling process based on their performance in the AILET exam. It is typically released category-wise after the declaration of AILET results. Inclusion in the invite list indicates that a candidate has met the minimum eligibility criteria and has a competitive score, but it does not guarantee admission to any particular law programme.
Candidates whose names appear in the AILET 2026 invite list can register for AILET 2026 counselling. They can download this list from the website of NLU Delhi from the "Notification" section. 

AILET Merit List 2026

The merit list will include the names of candidates who registered for counselling. The AILET merit list is prepared as per the ranking of all candidates who have appeared for the AILET exam. The AILET merit lists 2026 will be released in three rounds for BA LLB and LLM programmes.

To download the merit list, follow the steps mentioned below,

• Open the "AILET 2026 Portal."
• Now, go to the "Notification" section of the website's homepage. 
• Click on the "AILET Merit" link for your law programme.
• Click on the download button to download the merit list for your law programme as a PDF.

AILET Counselling 2026 

AILET counselling starts with the release of counselling registration, after which AILET invite lists and merit lists are released. During the AILET 2026 counselling process, first candidates will have to register for counselling, upload their education documents and ID proofs, and then pay the AILET 2026 admission fee / balance fee. 

How to Register for AILET Counselling 2026? 

To register for the counselling process of AILET, use the following steps:

• Log in to the counselling portal by entering your AILET roll number or AILET application number and date of birth.
• Upload all the documents required for registration  
• Now, click on the ‘submit’ button to submit entered details and uploded documents.

Documents Required for AILET 2026 Counselling

The following documents are needed for AILET counselling 2026: 

• Admit Card
• Scorecard
• Class 10 Marksheet and Certificate
• Class 12 Marksheet and Certificate
• Character and Category Certificate
• Passport-size Photographs
• Photocopy of Identity Proof
• AILET Application Fee Payment Receipt

AILET Admission Fee 2026 

Once you register for the AILET 2026 counselling and your name appears in the AILET 2026 merit list, you will have to pay the AILET admission fee or balance fee 2026 as per the NLU Delhi fee structure 2026. The fee needs to be paid in online mode through nationallawuniversitydelhi.in. 

AILET 2026 Admission / Self-Reporting to College

Self-reporting is the last step of admission to NLU Delhi through AILET. It is the process of visiting the college after paying the admission fee to attend classes. To reach this final stage of the AILET admission process, you will have to follow the other steps mentioned above.
