The Rajasthan University Law Entrance Test (RULET) exam will be conducted in a pen-paper based test mode in June 2026 (tentative) for admissions to five-year LLB course. The University of Rajasthan, the exam authority will conduct the examination in the Jaipur test centre for a duration of two hours. The question paper of RULET 2026 will be available in Hindi and English. Moreover, it will be based on three main subjects - Language Ability, Legal Reasoning and General Knowledge. - Understand the basic principles and facts of the syllabus.

Preparation Tips for General Knowledge
This seems easier section for all and, often candidates take it lightly. However, candidates need to prepare this section with equal importance as it carries the same weightage. Candidates need to gather the books to refer for General Knowledge and Current Affairs. Thereafter, they have to make notes on the recent events, GK topics and the practice the questions. They should ensure practising at least 2-3 topics every day. Also, go through the past years question papers to get an overview of the type of questions.

Preparation Tips for Language Ability
For this section, candidates need to go beyond covering the syllabus by learning new words every day and practising reading skills. They need to read books, practice objective questions and revise in a strategic manner. If the candidate is confused with grammar, tenses, verbs etc, then they should first develop a conceptual understanding with the help of books like Wren & Martin. Candidates should focus on word meaning, usage, synonyms/antonyms/homonyms, phrases/ Idioms, figures of speech and sentence correction/completion for this section. Candidates should ensure taking mock-tests at least 4-5 per week just for this section.
