RULET 2026: Notification, Registration, Eligibility, Syllabus, Exam Date, Results

RULET refers to the Rajasthan University Law Entrance Test, which is conducted for admission to the 5-year Integrated LLB courses provided at the Rajasthan University. The RULET exam is held in offline mode at the designated test centres in Jaipur State. The exam has MCQ-type questions which include English Language, Legal Reasoning, Current Affairs and General Knowledge, and Quantitative Aptitude and Logical Reasoning. The RULET exam is conducted for 300 marks, after which the candidates who clear the exam are called for the PI and GD. The admission list is prepared based on the marks secured in the RULET exam, GD and PI.

The University of Rajasthan will begin the registration process for the RULET 2026 online. The RULET application window will open at uniraj.ac.in. Eligible candidates will need to complete the entire RULET exam application process in the following steps:

• Register: Candidates will have register using the valid email ID and password and then upload their photograph, signature, and left-hand thumb impression after loging in.
• Pay the application fee: Once the registration is complete, candidates will be required to submit the entrance exam fee online through the UPI /payment gateway of ICICI Bank.
• Print: It is advised to keep the print of the invoice and the complete RULET application form safe in PDF format for the purpose of counselling and their own reference. The applicants are not required to deposit the hard copy of the online application form.

RULET Eligibility Criteria 2026

Candidates will have to be eligible to apply for the RULET exam. It is advised to go through the complete RULET 2026 eligibility criteria before registration which is provided as follows:

• Qualification: Candidates who have passed or are appearing in the 12th qualifying examination or equivalent from the Rajasthan Board or any other state or national board of education are eligible to apply for the exam. 
• Marks in qualifying exam: Candidates of Rajasthan State are required to secure atleast 50% marks in Class 12th and candidates belonging to the SC/ST category must have secured atleast 45% marks. Candidates of other states must have obtained at least 60% marks in the Class 12th examination to be eligible for admission.
• Age limit: There is no upper age or lower age limit criteria for admission to five-year integrated law courses are per Bar Council of India (BCI) norms.

RULET 2026 Exam Pattern

The UniRaj exam authority will release the RULET exam pattern along with the exam notification. Check the expected pattern of the RULET exam below:

Candidates can follow the preparation tips given below to prepare for RULET 2026:

1. Reading skills - You should focus on improving speed in reading and understanding, and for this, you should read newspapers, books, as well as blogs. 
2. Take help from books - There are plenty of books by recommended authors that will help you learn important tips and tricks to score well in the exam as well as understand difficult concepts from the syllabus.
3. Practice mock tests - It is advised that to prepare and get an idea of the real-time exam, you should refer the previous years' papers for RULET as well as there are plenty of mock tests available online that are similar to the law entrance exam. Practice the papers as much as possible to score well.
4. Revision notes - During the exam preparation you will be occupied with a number of things, therefore, it would be better to keep making notes. It will be helpful for the GK section as well as the Legal Reasoning section.

The University of Rajasthan does not officially release the mock test for the RULET exam; however, candidates must practice the questions through the RULET previous year papers or those belonging to other law entrance tests. Practicing mock tests ensures the all-round preparation of the exam, while it makes the candidates understand their level of preparation. Regular practice of questions also allows the students to understand the kind of questions asked in the exam and therefore, increases the chances of cracking the test in first attempt itself. 

The examination cell releases the sample papers for the RULET exam along with the notification on the UniRaj official website. Candidates can make extensive use of those papers to prepare for the RULET exam effeciently. 

RULET 2026 admit card will be released online on the UniRaj official website. The admit card will be issued to the candidates who have successfully registered for the exam before the deadline. Candidates will be able to download the admit card through the candidate's dashboard only. No admit card will be sent via post or mail to the candidates. Candidates will require their RULET 2026 application form number or with mobile number/ registered email ID to access the admit card.

No candidate will be allowed inside the exam hall without a printed copy of the issued RULET admit card 2025. The admit card bears the candidates' details, exam details, and centre name and address. Candidates will have to carry a valid ID proof along with the admit card to the exam hall. 

The University of Rajasthan will release the RULET 2026 answer key online on the official website once the exam concludes. The answer key will be uploaded in the PDF format. It will carry the mention the answers to all questions asked in the exam. Candidates will be able to cross-check their answers marked in the exam with those provided in the key.

The RULET 2026 answer key will be available for objections by the candidates. The objection form has to be submitted by the deadline to challenge the key. Objections regarding the answer key must reach the Convener, RULET – 2026, in the University Five Year Law College, University of Rajasthan, Jaipur.
