RULET Exam Analysis 2026: Get Detailed Paper Analysis & Review

RULET exam is taken by Rajasthan University as entrance exam who qualify the RULET exam will be able to get into counselling session. Exam duration is 2 hours with 150 MCQ question each question contains 2 marks and no negative marking. Examination fees is rs 2000. Eligibilty 12th passed with 50% marks and for SC/ST 45% marks for Rajasthan student for other state 60% marks needed in class 12. No age limit for the candidate. CLAT is comparatively more difficult than RULET as the exam is conducted for 25 NLUs in the country and other participating universities. However, RULET is held only for admission to Rajasthan University.

Based on the exam structure and student feedback, the Legal Reasoning and English Language sections are generally considered the most difficult and high-stakes parts of the RULET exam. They carry the highest weightage (100 marks each) and require in-depth preparation. 

The RULET (Rajasthan University Law Entrance Test) exam is generally considered moderate in difficulty. It is a 2-hour offline test comprising 150 multiple-choice questions focusing on Legal Reasoning, English, General Knowledge, and Logical Reasoning, with no negative marking.

The university does not publish the question paper however, it does provide RULET sample papers for candidates' convenience. Candidates seeking RULET question papers can find it on Shiksha platform. Candidates preparing for the the RULET exam must refer to the best resource books and practice as many sample papers and question papers to ace in the exam. Clearing the RULET exam is not that difficult when done in strategised manner.

RULET is an entrance exam conducted by the University of Rajasthan. The RULET exam is for admission to the undergraduate Law courses. Interested candidates will be required to fill in the application form.  

 

The important dates for RULET Application Process will be released in notification. Candidates must note that they can fill it in both online or by visiting the University. To fill the application form, candidates must keep all documents ready. 

Candidates appearing for RULET 2026 exam day will have to carry the following items along with the admit card:

• A valid photo Identity proof as issued by the government authority
• Pen with blue or black ink, and an HB pencil to mark answers in OMR sheet
• A transparent water bottle

The mimimum qualifying marks for the RULET 2026 is announced in the notification. It will be announced after the release of the result. For each category, the cutoff will be different.
