What is CUET PG Exam?
The Common University Entrance Test (Postgraduate), or NTA CUET PG, is an all-India-level entrance exam that is being introduced for admission into PG programmes in Central and participating Universities. The Common University Entrance Test (CUET) will provide a common platform and equal opportunities to candidates across the country, especially those from the North East and rural and other remote areas, and help to establish better connections with the universities. CUET PG Eligibility Criteria 2026
The CUET PG eligibility criteria define minimum qualifications, mainly a bachelor's degree with a specified percentage of marks or equivalent qualifying exams. This threshold provides a baseline level of academic preparedness among entrants, thereby safeguarding the quality of postgraduate education.
Following the NTA CUET PG information brochure, there is no age limit for the candidates. The candidates who have passed the bachelor's degree/equivalent examination or are appearing in 2026, irrespective of their age, can appear in master’s degree programmes in the Central Universities through the CUET PG 2026 examination. However, the candidates will be required to fulfil the age criteria of the University to which they are desirous of taking admission.

CUET PG 2026 Registration
CUET PG Application form 2026 is anticipated to commence in the month of January 2026. The CUET PG application form 2026 will be available in online mode on the official website of the exam. Candidates need to first register by providing their personal and educational details. After receiving the registration credentials via email and SMS, they have to log in again and fill up the application form with the rest of the personal and academic details, exam city preference, course preference and document upload. After all details on the application form are filled in, candidates need to pay the application fee. Candidates could make the payment of the application fee online (through credit/ debit card/net banking).

CUET PG 2026 Application Fee
After the form is submitted, a new window will open that will display the name and enrollment ID of the candidate. The window will also display the amount to be paid by the candidate as the application fee. After checking these details, candidates need to click on the 'Proceed to Payment' button.

CUET PG 2026 Exam Pattern
From last year onwards, the CUET PG exam pattern has been changed. There will be only 75 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) that the exam authority will ask from the mentioned CUET PG syllabus 2026. The exam officials have designed the CUET PG syllabus to test the candidate's analytical and cognitive approach towards the applied course in the CUET PG 2026 examination.
The CUET PG exam duration has also been reduced by the exam authority. Earlier, 1 hour and 45 minutes were given to the candidates to attempt 100 questions in the CUET PG exam. But from this year onwards, 90 minutes, or 1 hour and 30 minutes, will be given to the candidates to attempt 75 questions in the CUET PG 2026 examination.

CUET PG 2026 Mock Test Link is provided by NTA, National Testing Agency every year for the candidates preparing to get admissions in the master's degree programmes offered by CUET PG 2026 participating universities. Test takers will be able to take the CUET PG mock test 2026 for various subjects by visiting the NTA website ie., nta.ac.in. The mock test will help the candidates to become aware and certain of the CUET PG exam pattern 2026, navigation scheme, and type of questions.

CUET PG 2026 Admit Card
The CUET PG Admit Card 2026 is an online document that acts as the hall ticket to the centre and carries candidates' personal and exam paper details. Candidates will have to log in to the exam website and download the hall ticket in PDF format. The admit card CUET PG 2026 will carry important information such as the candidate's name, Roll Number, photograph, signature, exam date, timing, exam centre address and other details. Without the admit card, candidates will not be allowed to enter the examination hall.
CUET PG 2026 admit card will be released in the first week of March 2026, tentatively. The admit card will be released in a phase-wise manner. Prior to the release of the CUET PG 2026 admit card, NTA will also release the CUET PG 2026 advance city intimation slip.
CUET PG 2026 Exam Centre
CUET PG exam centres are the list of cities and their exam centre zones in which the exam will conducted by NTA for admissions to the masters degree programmes offered at the participating universities. CUET PG 2026 exam centre list will be provided by NTA on the CUET PG 2026 official website in the information brochure. Candidates need to select the CUET PG 2026 exam city preference from the mentioned exam centres while filling out the CUET PG registration form 2026.
CUET PG 2026 Good Score
CUET PG Good Score will also enable candidates to strategically allocate time and resources for different subjects based on their difficulty level and weightage. Many of the top NIRF Ranking institutes like JNU, University of Delhi, BHU, TISS, and Central University of Hyderabad will require a score higher than the average score in CUET PG, due to the high competition level for these universities. On average 180-195 will be considered to be a good score in CUET PG 2026 exam.

CUET PG 2026 Answer Key
CUET PG 2026 Answer Key will be released in the first week of April 2026, tentatively by the NTA on the official website. The exam authority will release the CUET PG answer key 2026 subject-wise, for which the CUET PG 2026 exam will be conducted. Along with the release of the CUET PG 2026 answer key, the NTA will also release the CUET PG 2026 student response sheet.
Candidates also get the opportunity to raise objections against the released CUET PG answer key 2026. The CUET PG 2026 answer key objection window will open in the first week of March 2026. The fee to submit an objection against each answer key will be INR 200. The last date to raise objection against the CUET PG 2026 answer key will be notified soon.
CUET PG 2026 Results
CUET PG 2026 results will be released by the examination conducting body, NTA in the second week of April 2026 tentatively. The CUET PG results 2026 will be compiled based on the corrections made in the provisional answer key (also called CUET PG Final answer key). Candidates will have to log in to the official website with their registration credentials and download the CUET PG 2026 result or scorecard. The NTA Score of CUET (PG) - 2026 will be valid for admission to the academic year 2026-26 only. Scores and candidate data would be shared with the University where he/she has applied.
The Score Card will contain marks awarded in the domain subject knowledge for each course. The university can draw the merit list based on the total score or only on the score achieved in Part I of the Domain Knowledge Section.

CUET PG 2026 Topper List
The CUET PG 2026 topper list will be prepared based on the highest number of marks scored by the test takers in the applied subjects. NTA will release the CUET PG 2026 topper list along with results in the form of a press release. There will be a total of 157 subjects for which the CUET PG 2026 exam will be conducted and for each subject, a topper list will be prepared.
Since CUET PG 2026 exam is yet to be conducted, candidates can go through the CUET PG 2024 topper list. This will give candidates an idea about the level of difficulty of the exam and how and when to start preparing for the examination, well in advance.

CUET PG 2026 Cut Off
CUET PG cutoff is the minimum mark applicants need to secure to get admission in college/university. The participating universities will release a particular subject's CUET PG 2026 cut-off separately. NTA will not release any CUET PG 2026 subject-wise or university-wise cut-off separately. CUET PG cut-off 2026 for famous universities like Delhi University, BHU, JNU etc will be high compared to other CUET PG 2026 participating institutes.
