The AMU entrance exam 2020 admit card will be issued at least a week before the exam date for Under Graduate (UG) courses and Post Graduate (UG) courses. Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) has postponed the exam dates for AMU entrance exam (AMUEE) 2020 as of now due to COVID-19 lockdown. Earlier, the exam was scheduled to be held on April 12, 13 and May 31, 2020. The university will issue admit cards to all those candidates who have registered successfully submitted the AMUEE 2020 application form before the last date. Now, the university will issue admit cards only after a new schedule for AMU entrance exam 2020 is finalised. How to download AMU Entrance Exam 2020 Admit Card?
AMU will release the admit card of the upcoming entrance examinations on its official websites. Candidates can download their admit card as per the simple steps below:
- Visit the official website of AMU or click here – AMU Entrance Exam 2020 Admit Card
- Click on ‘General Admissions under the Admission tab on the main page or click the ‘hall ticket notification’ on the website
- The login window will appear on the screen, and candidates have to enter their registered email address and password to download the admit card
- Before downloading the admit card, cross-check all details and in case of any discrepancy report it to the admission helpdesk
- In any case, download the admit card and get printouts to carry it on the exam day
Why is Admit Card of AMU Entrance Exam 2020 Important?
Candidates appearing for AMU entrance exam 2020 will require the admit card for getting entry to the exam centre as it will mention important details about the candidates, test course, timings and test centre details. The exam centre officials will check the admit cards before allowing entry to the examination hall. If any candidate reports to the test centre without a valid admit card then he/ she would not be allowed to take the examination.
AMU Entrance Exam 2020 Admit Card Instructions
- Candidates should carry their admit card printouts on the exam day along with a valid photo ID proof.
- In case any misinformation is mentioned on the admit card then the candidates should get it corrected by the exam/ admission helpdesk at least 2-3 days before the exam day.
- Candidates need to paste a recent and color size photograph at the space provided on the admit card of AMU 2020 entrance exam.
- Candidates should not write anything on the admit card (not even putting their name and signature) before the exam begins.
The university will not release the admit card for Departmental Test on the official website. The candidates appearing for Departmental Test of AMU can obtain their admit cards two days before the exam date from the concerned department of the university. Candidates have to visit in person to get their admit cards from AMU.
