ATMA counselling 2025: Association of Indian Management Schools (AIMS) does not conduct a centralised counselling process for the ATMA exam. AIMS Test for Management Admissions (ATMA) counselling is conducted by the participating institutes which accept ATMA scores after the results are announced. The ATMA results 2025 were announced on September 4, 2025, for the August 2025 session exam. Candidates who will meet the cut-off marks for the ATMA exam will be called for final selection rounds. The counselling rounds of the ATMA exam 2025 was held at various centres. Candidates can select their centres while filling out the registration form for participating institutes after the announcement of results and cut-off marks.

Click on the button reading 'New Registration' 3. Fill in the PI. Number 4. Several details are prefilled from the ATMA form, including personal and academic details in the registration form. 5. Upload photograph and signature in the specified format and size. 6. Pay the counselling fee via the available payment modes. After successful payment, you will receive a payment confirmation message on your registered mobile number and email ID. ATMA Counselling Process 2025

ATMA counselling rounds include three rounds i.e. Group Discussion (GD), Personal Interview (PI) and Written Ability Test (WAT) as explained below:

1. Group Discussion (GD) – Candidates who meet the cutoff criteria will be called for a Group Discussion round by various institutes. They will be divided into small groups and will be assigned a particular topic for discussion. The candidates will be assessed on various grounds such as negotiation skills, managerial skills, communication skills, leadership, personality, etc.

2. Written Ability Test (WAT) – Candidates will be required to take a WAT (Written Ability Test) and write a short essay on any general topic allotted by the panel of judges. Moreover, there could be subjective-type questions and answers round on the given topic/s. Candidates will be judged on language ability, vocabulary, grammatical skills, expression, etc.

3. Personal Interview (PI) – Candidates will then have to appear for an interview with an expert panel from industries or academics. The PI round will focus on:

Communication skills
Overall personality

Q: How can I calculate ATMA scores?

ATMA score is determined on the basis of correct answers marked by aspirants in the ATMA exam. For each correct answer, candidates are awarded one mark. For an incorrect answer, 0.25 marks are deducted from the candidates' total score. This means that for four incorrect answers, one mark is deducted from the total score. The raw score of candidates is scaled with reference to the total number of candidates appearing in the exam. The ATMA percentile is the percentage of candidates among those who have appeared for the exam and scored below the candidate in that category. That is, if a candidate has scored 53 per cent, this means that 53 per cent of candidates who have appeared in ATMA exam scored below him/her. Based on the percentile score of candidates they will be offered admission to the management institutions compared to others who have appeared in the test.
