#Take stock of situation
First and foremost thing is to understand your exact position in terms of INI CET 2026 preparation for January session. You need to make a list of tasks that needs to be completed in this remaining time. This is of utmost importance so that you can devote time accordingly without missing out on anything important. Identify those areas which need more attention. Revisit this list at regular intervals and tick marks against those tasks which have been completed for moment.
Students need to plan and make a strategy to qualify for the Institute of National Importance Combined Entrance Examination, INI CET. They need to know everything about the exam pattern, type of questions, marking scheme, best books, and other key details to qualify for the exam. According to students, questions from Ortho, Radio, Medicine were most difficult. The overall difficulty level of the question paper was moderate. It must be noted AIIMS doesn't release the official question paper but some coaching centres release the unofficial question paper and answer key right after the exam.
#Draw a Timetable
Preparing a 60-day time schedule is another important thing to complete everything well on time. Timetable helps you to allocate a particular duration of time to complete every task you have earmarked for exam. For example, dedicate some specific hours daily for revision or mock tests. This way you complete everything in a hassle-free manner. Timetable must be pasted somewhere on the wall so that it is clearly visible to you.
#Revision from notes
Regular revision of topics is key to success in INI CET 2026 January session. Handmade notes prepared during initial days of preparation prove very handy for revision. By this time you must have an idea how much time will it take for revision of a particular topic. Calculate total number of hours you require to revise all topics of syllabus. Divide total number of hours by 30. On an average, you need 4-5 hours for revision of every topic. You can make different combinations of topics such as revising vast topics with interesting ones as per your choice.
#Regular practice through mock test
Mock test is replica of exam paper which helps you to understand INI CET exam pattern 2025 and other aspects of exam. Candidates should solve INI CET mock test paper daily to gain confidence before exam. Dedicate 2-3 hours daily to solve mock test paper which gets you into a habit of solving questions. This exercise helps you to improve speed and accuracy while attempting questions on INI CET 2025 exam-day.
All three subjects such as clinical, pre clinical, para clinical are equally difficult to prepare. Clinical topics are vast in comparison to pre and para clinical topics. Ideally candidates should focus on understanding the concept. Candidates should keep the fact in mind INI CET is one of the toughest exams so shallow preparation doesn’t work. They should have robust plan and strategy to crack the exam.
Generally, the clinical section remains the most difficult in the INI CET exam. However, difficulty level varies from candidate to candidate as per their preparation level. In the January session, overall difficulty was moderate to difficult. 60 percent of questions were easy while 30-40 difficult.
Overall difficulty level of INI CET 2025 November exam was moderate difficult. The question paper was little difficult than the last time. Most of the questions were clinical based. A good number of questions were from Medicine, Surgury, Anatomy, Physiology, Dermatology etc. Questions were one liner as well as image-based.
#Check previous question papers
Candidates should check previous years’ question papers so that they have a better idea about difficulty level of INI CET question paper 2025. They get an idea of whether some questions get repeated or not in INI CET. Previous year’s question paper also gives you an idea about weightage from a particular topic. AIIMS doesn’t release official question paper but one can check question paper released by various coaching institutes based on the memory of exam takers.
#Learning from your mistakes
It is not enough to only practice mock tests. Candidates should do a thorough analysis of performance in mock test for INI CET 2025. Work on those areas where you lost marks in mock test. Also, check why you couldn’t manage to attempt all questions in given time. Candidates can consult seniors/professors to review their performance and provide their valuable inputs to further improve their scores.
#Take care of health
This is crucial time as one can’t afford to fall ill during this crucial time. Candidates should take a small break during study. They should sleep for at least 5-6 hours daily too. This may not be possible for some students but they should understand minds also need rest. Some candidates stay awake at night or skip eating on time. Such things may pose risk to their health.
#Recreational Activities
Candidates should dedicate some hours of day to those activities which they like most such as watching shows, listening favourite song or anything which make them happy. This helps to rejuvenate mind by breaking cycle of monotony and daily routine.
