The All India Institute of Medical Science released the Insitute of National Importance Common Entrance Test 2026 May exam propectus for the admissions to July 2026 sessions. The Institute released the prospectus and application form on March 28 on its official website - aiims.ac.in. The last date to apply online is April 25, 2026. INI CET May 2026 Exam Date Out

INI CET May 2026 prospectus and application form was released online on March 28. The candidates can register and apply online for the exam on the official portal of the AIIMS - aiims.ac.in. The last date for the INI CET 2026 application is April 25. The Institute will also provide the application correction facility from April 30 to May 2. The candidates will be allowed to change their blurry images during this time.

The AIIMS will conduct the INI CET exam on May 16 at the designated exam centres across the nation. The candidates should note that the Cutoff date to complete the mandatory internship for the exam is July 31, 2026. The candidates who will complete their internship after this date will not be eligible for registration for this exam.

INI CET May 2026 Eligibility Criteria

In order to appear for INI CET exam, students need to fulfill certain eligibility requirements. Some of the eligibility criteria have been provided below:

• Students must have MBBS degree from recognized institute/college
• They should have scored minimum marks. Minimum marks criteria is 55% for General category. SC/ST category students need to have 50% minimum marks.
• Internship must be completed as per deadline mentioned in brochure
• There is no capping on age and number of attempt
• Internship Cutoff Date - July 31, 2026.

INI CET May 2026 Application Form

AIIMS releasd application form online only. It must be noted, AIIMS will not accept offline or any modes of application form. Whole INI CET application process has the steps such as online registration, filling personal and academic details in application form, uploading images, paying exam fee, and choosing exam centre. Before applying online for exam, students are advised to check eligibility criteria. Online registration can be done at aiimsexams.ac.in. Students will have to submit basic details such as name, mobile number, date of birth, etc to complete registration for INI CET. After successful registration, application ID and password will be generated.

The AIIMS did not change the INI CET 2026 Application fee and it is kept same as of previous session.

INI CET 2026 Syllabus For May Exam

Before starting preparation for INI CET, students do want to know exam syllabus. AIIMS doesn’t release word by word syllabus for INI CET exam. INI CET syllabus mainly includes all those subjects which are taught as part of MBBS curriculum. Syllabus for INI CET can be divided into three sections, pre clinical, para clinical and clinical subjects. Students are advised to prepare all subjects as part of INI CET syllabus to get good rank in exam. As INI CET is one of the toughest exams, students must not leave any subject and topic.

INI CET 2026 Pattern For May Exam

INI CET 2026 May exam pattern will be released along with official brochure. Exam pattern includes mode and medium of exam, total number of questions, their type, marking scheme etc. As per existing INI CET pattern, exam will be held in computer-based mode. Students who prepare for INI CET 2026 May exam need to plan properly in order to get good rank in exam. As INI CET is one of the toughest exams for PG admission, students should not leave any stone unturned for INI CET 2026 preparation. Check some of INI CET 2026 May exam tips given below:

• Draw out a detailed plan of remaining 2 to 3 months
• Try to complete syllabus in first one and half month
• Keep in mind concept is key. Do not finish INI CET syllabus just for the sake of it.
• Start from high weightage subjects and so on
• Also, create daily plan of study, giving specific hours for particular subject
• Revision is very important. At least two revision is must before exam-day
• After finishing syllabus, start mock test and attempt previous year INI CET question paper
• Analyse mock exam test results and work on those areas where you feel more attention is needed
