What's Next After NEET MDS Result 2026?
After the announcement of NEET MDS result, the MCC will conduct the counselling of shortlisted candidates to fill MDS course seats in alligned colleges and institutes. Candidates who obtain the NEET MDS qualifying percentile will only be called for the counselling process. The MCC will not consider the candidates who fail to obtain qualifying percentile.

If two or more candidates obtain the same scores in NEET MDS, then the merit position is determined using the following tie-breaker criteria-
- Candidates with a lesser number of incorrect responses in the overall paper (Part A & B) will be placed in a better merit position
- Candidates with a higher score in Part B of the question paper will be placed at a higher merit position.
- Candidate having lesser number of incorrect responses in Part B of the question paper will be placed at better merit position.
