Shiksha conducted a recent poll to gain insights into the readiness of the SET aspirants for the SET 2025 exam, and it has revealed that the majority of the students are practicing test papers, underscoring the SET exam day experience.
The poll results reveal:
74% of the aspirants are practicing SET test papers
4% are working on the Quantitative section
5% are analyzing their weaknesses
9% of the aspirants are planning to start taking the SET mock tests
8% of the aspirants are in the revision phase of the SET exam preparation
One Month Preparation for SET 2025
As mentioned before, only one month is left for the SET exam preparation. Candidates planning to appear for the SET exam 2025 must pull up their socks. Here are a few tips on how to crack SET exam in 30 days:
- Students should practice full-length practice tests under timed conditions to familiarize themselves with the real exam day environment. This will help in avoiding exam day anxiety, enhance confidence and avoid last minute jitters.
- SET is a speed-based exam. Hence, it is crucial for the students to optimize time allocation per question and avoid spending too much time on a particular question or section.
- By solving SET practice tests and mock tests, aspirants will be able to find their weaknesses and refine their approaches which will eventually lead to SET score improvement.
Experts recommend that in the last week of SET preparation students should combine concept revision with taking mock tests and full length practice tests to increase their chances of a better SET exam score. In 2025, according to the students who appeared for the SET session 1 exam, the SET exam was moderate. The General English section was the easiest of all four sections. The Quantitative Aptitude section was the toughest, and the other two sections were moderate to easy. The overall difficulty level of the SET question paper was moderate. Students who appeared for the SET 2025 session 2 exam said that the overall difficulty level was easy. Again, the General English section was the easiest. In this session, the Analytical and Logical Reasoning section was also easy to moderate. The Quant section was easy to moderate, and the General Knowledge section was difficult.
