Mumbai University to Establish Cutting-Edge Robotics and AI Centre in Kalyan
The 45,000-square-foot centre of Robotics and AI, which is being built in collaboration with the robotics company Zenyutech Industries, will emphasize cutting-edge research, industry education, and the development of skills in automation, robotics, and AI-based applications.
Mumbai University has announced the establishment of a 45,000-square-foot Centre of Excellence in Robotics and Artificial Intelligence (AI) at the university's School of Engineering and Applied Sciences in Kalyan. The centre will be established in collaboration with Zenyutech Industries, a robotics company, and will focus on cutting-edge research, industry education, and training for professionals in the fields of robotics, automation, and applications that utilize AI.
The university has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Zenyutech Industries to support cooperative curriculum creation, education initiatives, and research. Additionally, the centre will launch a Master of Technology (MTech) in Robotics program that students may take part in beginning this upcoming academic year. The centre will additionally offer researchers and students the opportunity to utilize cutting-edge robotic systems, automation technologies, and AI-driven applications along with focusing on practical training and skill development.

The MTech course in Robotics will bring together advanced coursework with hands-on experience. Students who aspire to work in the fields of industrial automation, robotics research, or AI-driven applications will be able to enrol for the programme subject to the fulfilment of eligibility criteria.
For learners, researchers, and working professionals, the institute will also host seminars, classes, and training sessions focused on the industry. These conferences will highlight the latest advances in automation, robotics, and machine learning while encouraging interaction between industries and universities.
