Q:   What is the fees of BTech in AKTU?
A: 

The fee structure for BTech at AKTU can differ between government and self-financed colleges affiliated with AKTU. Government colleges typically have lower tuition fees as we compar that to self-financed institutions.

Thus, the competition to gain admission for the Institute of Engineering and Technology (IET), AKTU is average. As per the requirement of the institute the students should have passed 10+2 examination and must have scored 50% marks in physics chemistry and mathematics. Counselling and qualification examination score are the two major factors behind the admission with Uttar Pradesh State Entrance Examination (U. P. S. E. ) Rank being given priority importance. Q:   How can I get admission to BA course at AKTU?

The selection process for the BA course is merit-based. Candidates should complete Class 12 with a 45% aggregate. AKTU admission season usually commences in February every year. 

 

Q:   What is the cutoff of AKTU for 2024 admission?
A: 

AKTU accepts JEE Main Scores for admission to the BTech and BTech Integrated courses. AKTU BTech cutoff 2024 has been concluded and as per the available data, the cutoff ranged between 30751.6 and 1413411 for the General AI category candidates. Wherein, the B.Tech. in Computer Science Engineering was the most competitive course with a Last Round closing rank of 30751.6 for the General AII India category students.

Q:   Is CUET compulsory for AKTU admission?
A: 

Yes, candidates seeking admission to DR. A.P.J Abdul Kalam Technical University undergraduate and postgraduate courses must have appeared for the CUET-UG and CUET-PG entrance exams, respectively. AKTU will not admit students who do not a valid CUET score. NTA usually releases CUET result in July. CUET UG Counselling is held and conducted separately by the participating institutes. CUET UG Counselling is usually held between Jul and Aug.

Good placement in my college. The facilities are more engaged with the students.
Placements: 90 percent of students got placed from my course. The highest package is 33 LPA, and the lowest package is 5 LPA. Recruiting companies are Trilogy Innovation, Accenture, Coforge, Prodest IT, Espire Information Labs, and many more. 85 percent of students get internships in my course. Full-stack developer roles should be offered in my course.
Infrastructure: Good infrastructure and classes should be run in smart classrooms. There is a good speed of Wi-Fi, and the library is environmentally friendly. Hostel facilities are also good, and the food in the hostel is also good. Mess canteen and medical facilities are also good.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful in every domain, helping guide students as per the current market scenario, and they help the students in every field. Semester exams are moderate, you will pass the exam very easily. In my college, 85 percent is the passing percentage.
Other: We choose the course based on our interest, and by seeing the market conditions, the best thing about my course is that we can learn and grow. We can not table on a particular platform. We made some changes in my course that the company wants in the present scenario. Events are running continuously, and the competition happens with other college students.

Overall, it's an average college, not so good, not so bad.
Placements: Mostly the sales companies are coming to the college. It is not so good for placements. Teach companies are very few, and also the packages are very low, just 2-3 LPA. If you are looking for a good placement college, then it is not for you. You have to take placement from external sources.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure at Abodh College and hostels are good. AC is working fine, and fans are working well. There is no problem with electricity. Wi-Fi is working fine. The library is good. We have no problem studying there. The canteen is provided, it is also good. All types of food items are available there.
Faculty: Faculty members are very supportive towards students. They guide you and support you in your academics as well as in your projects and skills. The curriculum is also improved. Exams are also good, not very hard, made from the previous year's papers. Overall, it is good. The pass percentage is around 30%.
Other: Events are held rarely. The campus crowd is good. Scholarships are provided through the UP scholarship scheme. Various clubs are created to perform extracurricular activities.

Good placements and best campus facilities. Skill-focused college with supportive teachers.
Placements: My college has good placements. Mostly, students who have good skills get 100% placement, and even those who put in a little hard work are easily able to get placed. The highest package 1.5 crores and the lowest package is 5-6 LPA. Mostly, students are placed in non-teaching companies. The top recruiting companies are Amazon and Deloitte.
Infrastructure: My course department has good infrastructure. We have Wi-Fi labs, classrooms, and a library, and everything works fine. The hostel facilities are overall okay. The mess food is not bad, but the taste of the food is decent. All the basic medical facilities are available. And we have proper grounds for both outdoor and indoor games.
Faculty: Teachers were helpful and well qualified they explain all the topics clearly. My course curriculum is relevant; it makes students industry-ready. They support students whenever they need help. The difficulty level of semester exams was moderate to hard, but most of the students passed easily.
Other: I chose this course because I was interested in computers and wanted to build a career in the teaching field. I think some things can be improved, like updated lab equipment and more industry-level workshops; these changes can make the course even better. Many fest and events are conducted in our college, which make students life enjoyable. The campus crowd is friendly and supportive. Scholarships were also offered to students. There are many extracurricular activities like sports, cultural events, and teaching clubs where students can participate and improve their skills.

Average as compared for money and good enough for a better degree.
Placements: 5 to 10 percent of students get placement. According to the sources, the highest package is 32 LPA, the average is 5 LPA, and the lowest is 2 LPA. Infosys, Wipro etc. come to the college. 20 to 30 percent get internship in local company. Top roles are many. Other local companies also come to recruit freshers but gave low packages, that’s why they are not given in the ads of KCC. But a good percentage of students are placed in these local companies, and the students who have gained experiences and certificates etc., are placed in Wipro and Infosys.
Infrastructure: As compared to other, our college has good infra and facilities. ATM is placed. Classrooms are very cozy and attractive. AC, Wi-Fi etc. are placed. Quality of food given in cafe as well as mess is good enough. Medical facilities are also available and you can do daily sports activities in ground.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful. Curriculum is relevant and many questions come in semester exam of put. Semester are easy to get pass and average to get good CGPA. Everybody can’t get good scores but a good mass of students are getting good marks due to this. Teachers are very patient and friendly, but other colleges’ professors are not so friendly as we had experienced this part in semester exam when centers occur in Gl Bajaj or GNIOT etc.
Other: This course is trend nowadays and gets good placement. That’s why I chose this.

Placements: 50 percent are placed in my MBA course. 18 LPA is the highest package offered in MBA. EY, KPMG, HDFC, Deloitte, Kotak Mahindra Bank, Tech Mahindra, Infosys, etc. 80 percent of students got internship from the college, and the companies are BNY, Agile Capital Services, etc.
Infrastructure: Classroom, infrastructure, and the library are fully well developed. E-library contains all books, and the seating area is so impressive. Hostel rooms are fully furnished, and the food in the mess is cooked with hygiene. Students from other states and countries also get their local food to make them feel familiar and better.
Faculty: The faculty members are so cooperative, helpful, and kind. They are well qualified and have proper knowledge. The teaching pattern and course coverage by them are impressive. The course curriculum is relevant, and practical's are also done to make the students industry ready. The exam papers are set by an AI.
Other: I have a commerce background, and I want to set my career in corporates. Events, fest, and sports are also there in the campus.

GNIOT offers a good campus, supportive faculty, and average placement opportunities.
Placements: GNIOT has an active placement cell that invites many companies yearly. In recent drives, over 300-400 recruiters visited, with around 700+ students placed across programs. The highest salary has gone up to around 70 LPA (international) and domestic packages around 27 LPA, while the average package is around 6-7 LPA. Top recruiters include TCS, Infosys, Wipro, HP, Cognizant, and many more, offering roles in IT, management, finance, and analytics.
Infrastructure: GNIOT has a large, modern campus with AC classrooms, smart boards, labs for all departments, and a big library with thousands of books and e-resources. There are separate hostels for boys and girls, sports grounds, an auditorium, cafeteria, medical facilities, Wi-Fi, and transport services. Overall, good infrastructure for study and campus life.
Faculty: GNIOT has experienced faculty across engineering, management, and computer Science departments, with industry exposure and academic support. The institute regularly issues exam circulars and schedules for class tests, semester exams, admit cards, practicals, and exam form deadlines on its official portals, so students stay updated with timelines and guidelines each session. Really good.
Other: GNIOT is a well-known institute in Greater Noida with a good campus, decent infrastructure, and supportive faculty. It offers various technical and management courses. Placements are average, but the overall learning environment is positive for students.

AKTU Fee-waiver Scholarship Schemes Eligibility Candidates must be enrolled in UG course at any of AKTU-affiliated colleges Candidates should be from SC, ST, or OBC category The family income of the candidate should not be more than INR 1 Lacs per annum In addition to this, AKTU Scholarship is entitled to provide financial assistance to its MTech students.

To be eligible for this Stipend, only one condition is there. He or she must have qualified for the GATE entrance exam. Candidates enrolled in the Ph.D. programme at AKTU on a regular basis are eligible for a monthly stipend of INR 31,000 from MHRD for the first two years of the programme and a monthly stipend of INR 35,000 for the next three years of the course of study; after completing five years, if students are still working on their Doctoral degree, then they are provided monthly financial assistance of INR 12,000 for only one year. Ph.D. scholars are eligible for Stipend only if they have qualified for national-level entrance examinations such as UGC/ CSIR NET (JRF) examination, SET, GATE (with a valid score), or Teacher Research Fellowship.

Q:   What is the total fee for B.Pharma at AKTU?
A: 

The AKTU fees for various courses is cumulative of several fee components. These components are tuition fees, hostel fees, one-time fees, etc. The fee components and amount vary across the colleges affiliated with AKTU. Across all the AKTU-affiliated colleges offering a BPharma, the total fee ranged between INR 1.3 Lacs and INR 5.4 lakh. Q:   How many rounds of counselling are there in CUET for AKTU admission?
A: 

DR. A.P.J Abdul Kalam Technical University is expected to conduct a total of six rounds for CUET-UG-qualified candidates. However, the cutoff rounds are conducted as per seat availability. If seats are available after AKTU round six of the counselling process, the University will release the special round to fulfil their vacant seats.

Engineering College Technical Campus, for which the last round closing score was 16842 for the General AI category candidates. Other best college at this score could be Shri Ramswaroop Memorial College of Engineering and Management, with last round closing score of 16384. Technical Education and Research Institute (TERI, Ghazipur) could also be considered which had the last round closing score of 15844.

According to media reports, AKTU has maintained 90% placement record during placement drive 2023. Further, the salary package offered during AKTU placements 2023 stood between INR 1 LPA and INR 20 LPA. Apart from this, a total of 7,000 students registered for the placement drive in 2023. Furthermore, a campus placement drive was organized by an Ed-Tech company on behalf of T&P cell. As per the media report, a total of 12 students have been selected for the post of Sales Executive with CTC of INR 4.12 LPA.
