AP PGLCET 2026 - Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education will release the AP PGLCET Application Form 2026 soon on the website lawcet-sche.aptonline.in/LAWCET. Once the application form is released, candidates will be able to register for the AP LAWCET 2026 Exam. The AP PGLCET exam is conducted for admission to the LLM course offered by various universities and their affiliated colleges in the state. The exam is held by the Sri Padmavati Mahila Visvavidyalayam, Tirupati, on behalf of APSCHE.

To appear for the AP PGLAWCET, candidates need to register online. The APSCHE will release the AP PGLCET 2026 notification online. Aspirants must follow the APPGLCET syllabus to prepare for the exam. Andhra Pradesh Post Graduate Common Law Entrance Test (AP PGLCET) is a state-level entrance exam conducted by Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE) for admissions to LLM course. The AP PGLCET Application Process will begin soon. Candidates will be able to fill out the application form online. To fill out the application form for AP PGLCET 2026, follow the process below.

  • Go to the website of APSCHE, cets.apsche.ap.gov.in/APSCHEHome.aspx. 
  • Click on the "LAWCET" tab available on the homepage of the website. 
  • Fill out the AP LAWCET application form and select LLM as your entrance exam course. 
  • On registration, you will be able to generatethe  AP LAWCET registration number and password. 
  • Using the registration number and password, fill out the AP PGLCET application form. 
  • Pay the application fee online. 
  • Review your application form, and then review it and submit. 

AP PGLCET Admission Process 2026

  • Apply for AP PGLCET 2026 - Candidates need to apply for AP PGLCET 2026 for LLM admission at the official website. The application process includes registration, application fee payment, filling up personal and academic details, besides category and domicile information. The application process is completely online. 
  • Download AP PGLCET admit card 2026 - Candidates who apply successfully for AP PGLCET 2026 will be issued hall tickets mentioning exam date and other details. Candidates need to download the admit card through the link given on the official website. 
  • Appear for AP PGLCET exam - Candidates need to appear for AP PGLCET 2026 as per the schedule and at the allotted exam centre. The exam will tentatively be held in the third or fourth week of May 2026 in a Computer-Based Test mode. 
  • AP PGLCET 2026 results and merit list - The exam authority will declare results for AP PGLCET 2026 on the official website in the third week of June 2026 (tentative date). The merit lists of AP PGLCET 2026 will also be released category-wise, mentioning marks and ranks of the qualified candidates on the same date. The merit list will be final for the admission seat allotment process.  
  • AP PGLCET 2026 counselling - Candidates who name and ranks will be mentioned in the merit list are required to participate in the counselling process for final seat and college allotment. Candidates would be required to register for web-counselling, and then report at the allotted law college for verification of the documents and other admission formalities.

The AP PGLCET application form 2026 will tentatively be released in the fourth week of March 2026 at cets.apsche.ap.gov.in/LAWCET. Q:   Is the application form for AP LAWCET and AP PGLCET same?
A: 

The application process and form for the AP LAWCET and AP PGLCET are the same. However, candidates have to select the course they are applying for at the time of registration only. For both 5-year LLB And 3-year LLB Programmes, candidates need to appear in a different test (AP LAWCET) that will be conducted by Acharya Nagarjuna University on behalf of the Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education. For admission to the LLM Course, candidates need to appear select AP PGLCET/LLM at the time of filling out the application form.

Q:   Can I fill Andhra Pradesh PGLCET Application Form in offline mode?
A: 

No there is no such provision to fill the application form in offline mode. Candidates should make sure they fill it on or before the deadline.

AP PGLCET 2026 Eligibility

The Andhra Pradesh Council of Higher Education has mentioned the following AP PGLCET eligibility criteria for admission to the LLM course. Candidates will need to fulfil the AP PGLCET 2026 eligibility criteria as under-

  • Candidate should have passed or appeared in the final year of their bachelor's degree in law i.e., Five-year LLB degree or a three-year LLB degree from any recognised university. 
  • They should have secured at least 50% marks if belonging to the General/ OBC category and 45% marks if belonging to the SC/ ST category.
  • There is no upper age or lower age limit for this course.
  • The candidates who are appearing or are awaiting results of their bachelor's degree can apply for AP PGLCET, but they have to submit the proof of qualification at the time of final admission.

  • Candidates must have completed a 3-year LLB or 5-year LLB degree. 
  • Candidates appearing in the final year of their 3-year/5-year LLB degree can also apply for Andhra Pradesh PGLCET 2026. These candidates need their final marksheet at the time of Andhra Pradesh PGLCET counselling. The minimum marks requirement in the qualifying exam (LLB exam) must be met by them.
Qualifying Marks
  • The qualifying percentage of marks in the Entrance Test is 25% (i.e. 30 marks out of total 120 marks).
  • For candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes or Scheduled Tribes, no minimum qualifying percentage of marks is prescribed.

  • There is no age limit to apply for Andhra Pradesh PGLCET.

A: 

The APLAWCET answer key 2026 will be released after the conclusion of exam. It will be released in two phases - preliminary and final answer key.

Q:   How can I check my AP PGLCET result?
A: 

The AP PGLCET results are released online on the official APSCHE LAWCET website. To check the result, candidates will have to visit this official website and click on the "Scorecard" link. Enter your AP PGLCET Hall Ticket Number and date of birth. 

Q:   When will AP PGLCET 2025 result be declared?
A: 

The AP PGLCET 2025 result will tentatively be declared in the fourth week of June 2025 on the official APSCHE LAWCET website - cets.apsche.ap.gov.in/LAWCET. 

The result for each candidates will be made available as a scorecard online. To pass the AP PGLCET 2025 exam, candidates from General and OBC categories will have to score 25% of the total marks i.e. 30 marks out of 120. 

There is no minimum passing marks for AP PGLCET for candidates from SC/ST category. All candidates who pass the exam will be eligible for the AP PGLCET counselling process. To participate in the counselling, they will have to fill out the counselling registration form online and then select the colleges for admission through the choice filling process.

  • There is no upper age or lower age limit for this course. 

The candidates who are appearing or are awaiting results of their Bachelor degree can apply for Andhra Pradesh PGLCET but they have to submit the proof of qualification at the time of final admission.
