NEET MDS Application Form 2026 (Out): Registration Link, Exam Fees & Process

The NEET MDS application form 2026 was released on March 14, 2026. The NBE is inviting the NEET MDS registration 2026 till March 30, 2026..

The NBEMS started the NEET MDS 2026 registration on March 14, 2026. The NEET MDS application form is available at natboard.edu.in. Candidates need to register and then apply online for the exam.

Candidates can apply online for NEET MDS exam using the process shared below-

• Visit the official website- natboard.edu.in.
• Select NEET MDS exam.
• Click on application link.
• Go to the new registration link.
• Register for the exam and fill the online form.
• Upload the documents.
• Pay the application fee.
• Submit the form.

Candidates can select only one exam city preference in the NEET MDS application form. The total number of NEET MDS 2025 exam cities was 59. It is expected that the number of exam cities will increase for NEET MDS 2026. Since only one exam city choice is allowed, candidates must choose the city closest to their present address. 

Candidates need to keep their documents ready to apply for the NEET MDS 2026. Have a look at the list of documents required for NEET MDS application form-

• Valid Email ID and mobile number.
• Educational Qualification Details.
• DCI/ SDC registration details.
• Class 12 Board Exam or equivalent details.
• Internship Details.
• Scanned images of a passport-sized photograph, signature and thumb impression. 

While uploading photograph and signature at the NEET MDS application form, candidates will have to keep in mind the following factors. 

• The photographs should be coloured and black and white photographs will not be accepted
• Candidate's face, eyes and ears must be clearly visible
• The photograph must be clicked against a white background
• Candidates should not be wearing caps or sunglasses in the photograph and there should not be reflection of light on the glasses, which are worn by candidates regularly
• Candidate's name and date of the photograph at the bottom
• Signatures should be done in blue or black ballpoint pen against a white background.

No, NEET MDS application form can be filled in an online mode only. Candidates have to visit the NBE website and click on the NEET MDS section and complete the registration and application procedure by filling in the mandatory details, uploading the documents such as certificates, photograph and signature, and paying the requisite application fee in an online mode. Even if a candidate plans to send the hardcopy of the filled up NEET MDS application form by post, it will not be accepted making the candidate ineligible to appear for the exam. 

The NEET MDS official website is hosted by the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS). There are two paths to reach the official website of NEET MDS. Candidates should keep the given documents ready before starting the NEET MDS application process-

There are two types of NEET MDS application correction window. In the first and primary correction window, and the final correction window. In the first or primary NEET MDS correction window, candidates can make corrections or changes in the informtion entered in the application form, except for a few fields. On the other hand, in the NEET MDS final correction window, candidates will be able to make corrections in the incorrect or deficient images of photograph, signature and thumb impression. Candidates will not be able to make changes in the images in the primary correction window and vice versa. 

Candidates need to pay the NEET MDS application fee while filling the form. One can pay the fees using any of the given payment method-

• Credit Card
• Debit Card
• Net Banking
• UPI

• Date of Birth

• Parents' Names
• Religion

• EWS and PWD status

There is no concession in NEET MDS application fee for OBC students. They have to pay INR 3,500 as an application fee. NBE had reduced the NEET MDS 2024 application fee from last year, which was INR 4,250. The exam fee for the Reserved category candidates is INR 2,500. The application fee of NEET MDS has to be paid in an online mode through Credit/Debit Card and Net Banking. 

NEET MDS application process is completely online. Candidates have to visit the official website of NEET MDS or the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) and after that, they will have to visit the NEET MDS section and follow the steps given below.

• Go to the official website of NBE - nbe.edu.in
• Click on "NEET-MDS"
• In the Links section, click on "New Registration"
• Enter the following details
  1. Name of Candidate
  2. Date of Birth
  3. Gender (Male/Female)
  4. Nationality (Indian/Others)
  5. Mobile Number
  6. Email Address
  7. Captcha
• Check the details for errors
• Click on "Submit"
• User ID and password will be sent to the registered email ID and mobile number
• Login using the "Applicant Login" section
• Enter the user ID and password
• Click on "Go to application form"
• Candidate’s Name, Date of Birth, Gender, Nationality, Mobile number and Email address will be pre-filled in the application form.
• Enter personal details such as
  1. Father’s Name
  2. Mother’s Name
  3. Select the Category (General/SC/ST/OBC)
  4. Are you a person with Disability (Yes/No)
  5. Identification Details
  6. Communication Address
• On completion of this section, click on "Save and Next"
• Enter qualification details such as
  1. 10+2 equivalent exam details
  2. BDS / Primary Medical Qualification details
     • Country of completion of BDS Qualification
     • Name of Country
     • State of completion
     • City of completion
     • University of completion
     • University name
     • Name of college
     • Month and Year of Passing
  3. Internship Details
  4. SDC/DCI Registration Details
• Once this section is complete, click on "Save and Next"
• Choose the desired NEET MDS test centre city.

It is not recommended to filll the NEET MDS application form on mobile phone. Though it is technically possible, but there may be other problems regarding file upload or fee payment when one fill the form on the phone. This might disturb the complete process. Candidates should try to fill the NEET MDS form on their desktop or laptop.

The NEET MDS 2026 application process is likely to be conducted for a duration of approximately four weeks. The actual dates will be announced by NBEMS in the information bulletin. The exam authorities do not change the NEET MDS application last date. As per past few years' trends, the NEET MDS application process gets reopened if the internship deadline is extended.

The NEET MDS 2026 internship cutoff date is May 31, 2026. The NBE mentioned the cut off date in the NEET MDS exam date notice. In case a candidate is unable to complete the internship within the said date will not be considered eligible.

Candidates need to make sure that they have good internet connection while applying online for the NEET MDS exam. Any of the browsers shared below can be used to fill the NEET MDS application form:

Candidates cannot appear for the NEET MDS exam if they do not complete the BDS internship before the cutoff date. The NEET MDS cutoff date for internship is mentioned on the information bulletin.

In such a scenario, you should wait for a while and login to your NEET MDS account again. In case of temporary glitch, the website may show the status of application as incomplete but it once the issue is resolved, the status will be shown as application successful. On the other hand, if any of the step, or the application fee payment is still pending, then you should check which stage it has been stuck and repeat the step again. In case the application fee is pending, then candidates are advised to pay the fee again to get confirmation on the NEET MDS application process. In case of double payment, the additional fee amount will be reversed to source. 

In general, NBEMS does not extend the NEET MDS registration last date. However, in case the internship deadline is extended, then the NEET MDS registration and application window may be reopened. The NEET MDS 2026 application process is expected to be conducted from the second to fourth week of February 2026. The actual dates will be announced along with the information bulletin.

In general, the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) or NBE provides the NEET MDS application correction facility twice. In the first round of NEET MDS application correction or edit window, changes can be done in any of the fields except for name, nationality, email, mobile number and test city. On the other hand, in the final edit window, candidates have to rectify their deficient or incorrect images or photographs, signatures and thumb impressions. 

The following fields cannot be edited in the NEET MDS application correction window:

• Candidate Name
• Nationality
• Mobile Number
• Email address
• Permanent address
• Test centre city choice.

After submitting the NEET MDS application form, candidates are advised to go through the submitted form to check whether all the information entered are correct or not. In case there is a mistake, then you have to make the changes in the first NEET MDS edit window. In case of a deficient image or signature, NBE will mail candidates with the details and candidates have to edit the images accordingly.  

No, candidates are not allowed to edit each and every detail of the NEET MDS application form. As per last year's trend, applicants could edit every detail except name, date of birth, nationality, mobile number, and email ID. Candidates will also be given a chance to rectify their images or signatures, or any other files uploaded by them. There is no additional charge levied to make corrections in the NEET MDS application.
