The NEET MDS 2025 information bulletin has been released by the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) on February 17, 2025, a day before the commencement of the application process. The information bulletin brings the important dates of NEET MDS 2025, along with other details of the exam.

NBEMS has stated that the NEET MDS 2025 application process will commence on February 18, 2025, at 3 PM. Aspirants planning to apply for NEET MDS 2025 must go through the information bulletin properly to understand the eligibility criteria, application process, exam pattern and other details.

NEET MDS 2025 Eligibility Criteria

Students must fulfill the NEET MDS 2025 eligibility criteria to apply and appear for NEET MDS 2025.

  • They must possess a Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS)from a University/Institute recognised by the DCI
  • They must be registered with the Dental Council of India (DCI) or State Dental Council (SDC) (permanent/provisional)
  • They must have completed 12 months of compulsory rotatory internship on or before March 31, 2025.

How to Apply for NEET MDS 2025

Candidates have to follow the process given below to register and apply for NEET MDS 2025.

  • Visit the official website of NEET MDS 2025 – https://natboard.edu.in/viewnbeexam?exam=neetmds
  • Click on the Application Link
  • Fill up the registration form with the mandatory detail to generate User ID and password
  • Login using the NEET MDS 2025 credentials
  • Fill up the application form with personal, communication, academic, internship, exam city selection and other mandatory details
  • Pay the requisite application fee in online mode through Credit Card, Debit Card, Net Banking and UPI.

Once the NEET MDS 2025 application process is complete, candidates should download and preserve the confirmation page till the admission process is over. The NEET MDS 2025 application fee is INR 3,500 for Open category candidates and INR 2,500 for Reserved category candidates. The exam will be conducted in 59 cities across India. Last year, the number of exam cities was 56.

NEET MDS 2025 will be conducted on April 19, 2025 in a computer-based-mode (CBT) for three hours, from 9 AM to 12 noon. Originally, the exam was scheduled to be held on January 31, 2025, but has been postponed.

Q:   When will the NEET MDS 2026 application process begin?
A:

The NEET MDS 2026 application process is expected to start in the second week of February 2026. The application process of NEET MDS 2026 will be completely online. The last date of NEET MDS 2026 application is likely to be scheduled in the fourth week of February 2026. The dates of NEET MDS 2026 application form will be announced by the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) on its official website through notification and information bulletin prior to the commencement of the application process. 

Q:   When did the NEET MDS 2025 application process begin?
A:

The NEET MDS 2025 application process began on February 18, 2025, 3 PM. The last date to fill and submit the application form was March 10, 2025, 11.55 PM. NBEMS had reopened the NEET MDS 2025 application window from April 3 to April 6, 2025, for the newly eligible candidates, who are slated to complete their internship between April 1 to June 30, 2025.

The NEET MDS 2025 application form was available only in online mode. Candidates have to fill the online application form, upload images and documents and pay the application fees in an online mode, with credit/debit card or net banking. Once the NEET MDS 2025 application form was filled and submitted, NBE sent an application confirmation to candidates.
