Can I apply for RRB NTPC exam offline?

RRB NTPC application form can be filled online only. Candidates are required to submit only one form. The first process towards filling the application form is registration. The same may be rejected if the details are not right.

What is RRB Group D selection process?

RRB Group D selection process comprises CBT, PET/PST, document verification and medical exam. The transgender candidates are given relaxation in the PET. CCAAs trained in railway establishment are given due weightage of marks obtained in their NCVT exam in preparation of final merit list after the conduct of CBT. Based on the performance of candidates in CBT subject to their qualifying in PER, candidates are called for document verification as per their merit and options. In case of two or more candidates secure same marks, their merit position is determined by age criteria i.e., older person is placed at higher merit and in case age is same, then alphabetical order (A to Z) of the name is taken into account to break the tie. Appointment of selected candidates is subject to their passing requisite Medical Fitness Test conducted by the Railway Administration, final verification of educational and community certificates and verification of antecedents/character of the candidates. All candidates clearing the DV are called for medical exam. RRBs/RRCs only recommend names of the empanelled candidates and appointment is offered only by the respective Railway Administrations.

How much application fees is refunded for RRB Group D exam?

Candidates who appear in the CBT exam are refunded their application fees. Candidates belonging to SC / ST/ ExSM/ PwBD/ Female/ Minority/EBC/Transgender categories will be entitled to get a full refund of their examination fees, which is INR 250. Whereas candidates belonging to General/EWS/OBC categories receive a partial refund of their examination fees, which is INR 400 after deducting the bank charges. To get the refund of application fee, candidates need to update their bank accounts. While, filling the application form candidates need to provide the details of their bank accounts inorder to get the fee refund.

Yes, candidates can change their states in the RRB Group D exam. This can be done by first choosing 'Application Modification' which is available in the home page of the registration portal. RRB Application Form 2026: The Railway Recruitment Board revised the Railway Group D application dates for CEN No. 09/2025. It will be released on January 31. The application online form window will be closed on March 2, 2026. It will be announced to fill up a total of 22,000 vacancies. The application fee is refunded after appearing in the Railway Group D exam.

The Board revised the RRB NTPC application status for Graduate Posts for CEN No. 06/2025. Candidates can check it via logging with the required credentials. RRB NTPC application form correction window for Undergraduate posts closed on December 16. The application process for UG posts closed on December 4. RRB NTPC Graduate application form filling process closed on November 27.
