RRB Admit Card 2025: The Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs) will issue the RRB NTPC UG TST admit card around four days before the exam. The direct link to download the admit card will be provided on this page. Candidates required the registration number or roll number and date of birth or password to downlaod the RRB NTPC call letter. The authority released the Railway Group D admit card CBT on November 24. It was released region-wise. 

Candidates need to carry the RRB NTPC admit card/ RRB JE admit card/ RRB ALP admit card/ RRB Group D admit card along with one photo-ID proof to the exam centre, without which they cannot appear for the exam. The Railway exam admit cards for various RRB exams are issued online.

How to Download RRB Admit Card for NTPC, Group D, ALP?

Candidates can follow the ways below to download the RRB NTPC admit card, RRB Group D admit card, or RRB ALP admit card for the RRB exam.

  • Visit the respective RRB official websites.
  • Click the admit card link on the home page
  • Enter user ID and password
  • The admit card will appear on the screen
  • Download and take its printout

It is crucial for the candidate to carry the printed copy of RRB NTPC admit card along with one photo-identity proof to the exam centre. The hard copy of the call letter is not sent to candidates by post. Railway NTPC Admit Card has two parts: One is candidates' copy and the other one is RRB copy. The invigilator checks the candidates' copy at the exam centre. The RRB admit card copy is retained by the invigilator. Candidates are advised to keep their copy of admit card till the recruitment process is over. The admit card also contains a google link for locating RRB NTPC exam centre. The admit card also has a barcode.

  • Details regarding the release of admit card are sent through SMS and email
  • Read the instructions carefully before downloading RRB admit card

RRB NTPC Undergraduate admit card 2025 for CBT 1 was released from August 4, 2025.  The admit card was released four days before the exam. Candidates can download their admit cards by logging with the required credentials. The hard copy of Railway NTPC Undergraduate admit card is not sent to candidates by post.

Q:   How to avail the free rail travel facility for RRB Group D exam?
A: 
The free rail travel facility (Sleeper class railway pass) for RRB Group D is available only for SC/ST candidates. The admit card for such candidates contains the free travel authority. Candidates are allowed to book tickets only on submission of the self-attested photocopy of the RRB Group D admit card and SC/ST Certificate. Candidates must carry the original SC/ST Certificate and one prescribed photo-identity proof in original during their journey.
Q:   I have forgotten the roll number of RRB NTPC. I have only registration number. How do I check my score card?

Firstly go to the official site, Now at the homepage, search for the NTPC CEN and go on forgot Registration Number link. Click on this link and wait. Now enter Name, DOB, Registered Email ID & Mobile No along with that follow the steps as asked. Hopefully there you'll get your roll number.

RRBs do not send the hard copy of the admit card individually. You need to download the admit card online. After downloading the admit card, save it in a folder or send it to your email ID so that you can easily access it. Candidates need to download their admit cards online only. The admit card link is made available in the respective official websites of RRBs. Candidates can download their admit cards by logging with the required credentials such as user ID and password. The hard copy of RRB Group D admit card is not sent to candidates by post. The admit card is an important document as it comprises the details related to the exam. Candidates need to carry the printed copy of the RRB Group D admit card along with one photo-identity to the exam centre.

Q:   What is RRB Group D selection process?
A: 

RRB Group D selection process comprises CBT, PET/PST, document verification and medical exam. The transgender candidates are given relaxation in the PET. CCAAs trained in railway establishment are given due weightage of marks obtained in their NCVT exam in preparation of final merit list after the conduct of CBT. Based on the performance of candidates in CBT subject to their qualifying in PER, candidates are called for document verification as per their merit and options. In case of two or more candidates secure same marks, their merit position is determined by age criteria i.e., older person is placed at higher merit and in case age is same, then alphabetical order (A to Z) of the name is taken into account to break the tie. Appointment of selected candidates is subject to their passing requisite Medical Fitness Test conducted by the Railway Administration, final verification of educational and community certificates and verification of antecedents/character of the candidates. All candidates clearing the DV are called for medical exam. RRBs/RRCs only recommend names of the empanelled candidates and appointment is offered only by the respective Railway Administrations.

Q:   How to download the RRB NTPC admit card if I do not have my Registration Number?
A: 

To download the RRB NTPC admit card without any registration number, go to the official RRB website, and make use of the Forgotten Registration Number option.

 After that, you need to put your name, date of birth, and father's name as per the application. This system will fetch the registration number by email or by SMS linked to your profile. Alternatively, you also check the application confirmation mail or SMS for the same number.

 Now that you have retrieved it, log in using your registration number and password/DOB to download the admit card. 

Q:   Who has to appear for the RRB NTPC Typing Skill Test?
A: 

RRB NTPC Typing Test is conducted for Junior Clerk, Accounts Clerk, Senior Clerk, and Senior Time Keeper post. Candidates are given to type certain words in Hindi or English. This test is qualifying in nature.

Q:   Is document verification compulsory for all selected candidates of RRB NTPC exam?

Yes, candidates shortlisted after CBT 2 and skill/aptitude tests must attend the document verification round. Candidates must carry the documents such as a pass certificate, identity proof, caste certificate, photographs, health certificate, domicile certificate, etc.
