RRB Vacancy 2025: The Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs) have released the vacancies for all RRBs examinations including RRB Group D, RRB NTPC, RRB ALP, RRB JE and RRB Technician. The authority announced the RRB NTPC Vacancy for CEN No. 06 & 7/2025. The vacancies were released zone and category-wise. A total of 8868 vacancies were announced. Out of these, 5810 are for Graduate posts and 3058 for UG. The RRB Group D vacancies were released along with the notification. A total of 32,438 RRB Group D 2025 vacancies were announced for the exam.
A total of 6180 vacancies were announced for RRB Technician 2025 in 51 categories. Out of the total vacancies, 180 are for Technician Grade 1, and 6000 are for Technician Grade 3. RRB Group D Vacancy 2025
The RRB Group D vacancies were announced with the release of the notification. The Group D vacancies were released state-wise and category-wise. The selection process consists of the CBT, Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Document Verification and Medical Examination. The basic salary for the RRB Group D is INR 18000. RRB ALP 2025 exam is conducted to select candidates for the post of Assistant Loco Pilot and Technician. A total of 9,970 vacancies were announced in 2025-26 and 18799 vacancies in 2024-25. A total of 6180 vacancies were announced in 51 categories. Out of the total vacancies, 180 are for Technician Grade 1, and 6000 are for Technician Grade 3. The CCAAs (Course Completed Act Apprentice) trained in railway establishment are given due weightage of marks obtained in National Council of Vocational Training (NCVT) for preparation of the final merit list. Such candidates are exempted from PET/PST. Railways will give one-third weightage to the NCVT marks in preparation of RRB Group D final merit list after the conduct of CBT. Earlier, CCAAs had to appear for PET and the final merit list was prepared based on the marks obtained in CBT and PET subject to qualifying the document verification.
The official notice reads, “20 per cent of reservation in RRB Group D exam is given to CCAAs. In line with the provision contained under section 22 of Apprentice Act, CCAAs trained in the railway establishments may be given due weightage for the same such that one-third of the mark in preparation of the final merit list after the conduct of CBT shall be based on the marks obtained in their NCVT exam. They shall, however, be eligible for empanelment only after document verification and qualifying the medical standards. Such candidates will be exempted from PET since they are already trained in railway establishment and have gone through rigor working in Railways and have proved themselves in meeting the physical standard required for performing their jobs."
