If you are not happy with the IGNOU Answer Key 2026 or find any mistake in the released responses, you can challenge it online through the official website. To raise an objection, you must pay a small fee for each question you want to challenge. The amount will be refunded only if your objection is found correct.
Steps to Raise Objection
- Log in to the IGNOU Answer Key 2026 portal using your credentials.
- Click on the option Challenge Answer Key.
- Select the question you want to object to and give a valid reason or reference for your claim.
- Pay the required fee for the objection submission.
Note: You need to pay Rs. 200 for every answer you challenge. Make sure to complete the process before the last date. The fee will not be refunded if your objection is incorrect.
What Happens Next
After the provisional answer key is released, IGNOU will publish the response sheet. A few days later, the IGNOU Result 2026 will be declared on ignou.ac.in. You will receive updates on your registered mobile number and email ID.
