Indira Gandhi National Open University will release the exam dates of IGNOU B Ed IGNOU 2026 on its official website. As per the past year IGNOU BEd dates, the exam will be conducted in March last week, 2026. By qualifying for the test, students will be allotted to the BEd course and during the course tenure, they will be able to enhance their teaching skills, gain professional credibility, and fulfill eligibility requirements for government and private teaching positions. Candidates should attain at least 50 percent marks in graduation or post-graduation in Science/Social Science/Commerce/Humanities to apply for the exam. There is also a relaxation of five percent marks provided to candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC)/ Scheduled Tribe (ST)/ Other Backward Class (OBC) – non-creamy layer/ Persons with Disability (PwD) categories. The exam body, Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) will release the IGNOU BEd 2026 application form on its official website in January 2026. The exam body will release the admit card a week before the exam date. The IGNOU BEd hall ticket 2026 will be released on its official website and will be available for download until the exam date. IGNOU BEd Entrance Exam Pattern

The IGNOU BEd Entrance Test is of two-hour duration and is conducted in offline mode. As per the IGNOU BEd Entrance Test Pattern, the question paper is divided into two parts (parts A and B) spread over a total of 100 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs).
