Indira Gandhi National Open University will release the exam dates of IGNOU B Ed IGNOU 2026 on its official website. As per the past year dates of IGNOU BEd the notification is expected to be released in January 2026. The IGNOU BEd entrance exam will be conducted in March, 2026. By qualifying for the test, students will be alloted to the BEd course and during the course tenure, they will be able to enhance their teaching skills, gain professional credibility, and fulfill eligibility requirements for government and private teaching positions. Candidates should attain at least 50 percent marks in graduation or post-graduation in Science/Social Science/Commerce/Humanities to apply for the exam. There is also a relaxation of five percent marks provided to candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC)/ Scheduled Tribe (ST)/ Other Backward Class (OBC) – non-creamy layer/ Persons with Disability (PwD) categories. IGNOU BEd Entrance Admit Card 2026

The exam body will release the admit card a week before the exam date. The IGNOU BEd hall ticket 2026 will be released on its official website and will be available for download until the exam date. Candidates who successfully submit the IGNOU BEd application form will be able to issue the admit card. To access it they will have to enter their login credentials - Control Number, Mobile Number, and Date of Birth. IGNOU BEd Entrance Exam Pattern

As per the exam pattern of the IGNOU BEd Entrance Test is of two-hour duration and is conducted in offline mode. As per the IGNOU BEd Entrance Test Pattern, the question paper is divided into two parts (parts A and B) spread over a total of 100 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs). The maximum number of marks that candidates can secure in the exam is 100. Questions in the IGNOU BEd entrance test will be asked in both Hindi and English.
