The exam body Kakatiya University has released the registration dates for the Telangana State Education Common Entrance Test (TS EdCET) 2025. As per the details mentioned on its official website, candidates will be able to fill the application form from March 12, 2025 onwards. The TGEdCET 2025 exam will be conducted on June 1, 2025 in two sessions. The exam body conducts the TGEdCET 2025 exam to shortlist candidates for admissions into the two-year Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) programs across various colleges and universities in Telangana.

Who can apply for the TG EdCET exam?
Candidates who abide by the eligibility norms can fill the TG EdCET application form. As per the eligibility criteria mentioned in the notification, students who belong to India can fill the application form. Those who satisfy the local/non-local status requirements as per the Telangana Educational Institutions (Regulation of Admission) Order, 1974 can apply.
As per the educational qualifications are concerned, students must possess a Bachelor's or Master's degree in relevant fields with at least 50% marks (45% for reserved categories). Students appearing in the final year examinations are also eligible to apply.
TG Ed CET Application Process:
The application process for TS EdCET 2025 is entirely online. Candidates will have to visit the official website to fill the application form, the steps for the same are mentioned below -
- Visit Official Website - edcet.tsche.ac.in.
- On the homepage, click on the registration link "Apply Online" and enter basic details such as name, mobile number, and email ID.
- Pay the application fee through available online payment methods.
- After paying the application fee, fill in personal, academic, and contact details in the application form.
- Upload scanned copies of necessary documents, including photograph and signature.
- Review the details, submit application form, and print copy for future reference.

The TGEdCET application form will be made available in March 2026 tentatively. Students meeting the minimum eligibility criteria will be able to fill the application form from March 2026, to May 2026. Candidates will be able to fill out the application form from its official website edcet.tgche.ac.in - There is also late fee for candidates who fail to submit the application form during the stipulated time, with late fee the last date. Students are advised to regularly check the official website as well as shiksha.com for updates on the availability of the application form.
As mentioned in the official notification released by the exam body Kakatiya University on behalf of TGCHE the application fee for the TGEdCET exam is INR 750 for General/other categories and INR 550 for SC/ST candidates. Candidates need to fill the TSEdCET application form in online mode from the official website - edcet.tgche.ac.in, and pay the application fee to successfully submit the form.
