TS EdCET 2026 Phase 1 counselling registration will begin on July 21, 2026, for candidates who qualified the entrance exam. Eligible candidates can complete the online registration process till July 28, 2026, through the official counselling portal.

After registration, the counselling process will continue with special category certificate verification, web option entry, seat allotment, and reporting to the allotted colleges. Candidates should complete each stage within the specified dates to secure admission to B.Ed colleges in Telangana.

TS EdCET 2026 Counselling: Documents Required

Candidates qualifying for the exam can appear for a TSEdCET web counselling session on the prescribed date from any place having an internet facility (helpline centre, home, etc). However, before candidates exercise their web options, they need to be present at the helpline centre with all the relevant documents as mentioned below:

TSEdCET rank card

TSEdCET hall ticket

Degree certificate of the qualifying exam and memorandum of marks

Intermediate memo-cum pass certificate or its equivalent

SSC or its equivalent marks memo

Study certificates from class IX to graduation

Residence certificate (in case where the candidate had private study without any institutionalized education)

Residence certificate of either of parents in Telangana for 10 years in case of non-local candidates excluding the period of employment outside the state. This certificate should be obtained from the Tahsildar.

Transfer certificate (TC)

Income certificate issued on or after April 1, 2017

Aadhar card

Caste certificate issued by competent authority (in case of SC/ST/BC)

PH/CAP/NCC/sports/Minority certificate (mentioned in graduation/post-graduation TC) certificates wherever applicable

Xerox copies of two sets of the original certificates

At the helpline centre, candidates are called for registration and verification of documents rank-wise. At the time of registration, candidates also need to pay a processing fee of Rs 600 (Rs 300 for SC/ ST category). After verification is done, candidates can collect the receipt of certificates from the counter. In the receipt, take a look for any discrepancies of the information and get it corrected immediately.

Web Options

Thereafter, candidates can start giving their web options for colleges. For the same, candidates first need to log in on the official website of TSEdCET using their hall ticket number, date of birth, and rank. Once web options are provided by candidates, these web options are processed on a notified date, and candidates are communicated about their seat allotment through SMS.

Candidates who are allotted seats can then download and print their provisional allotment letter and report at the respective college. If seats are vacant, a second round of TSEdCET 2026 counselling will be conducted by the varsity.

Steps to register for the TSEdCET Counselling Process

If you want to join B.Ed course, you must do TS EdCET Counselling 2026 registration first. The process is online and very simple to do.

Go to Website

Open edcet.tsche.ac.in on your phone or laptop. That’s the official site for TS EdCET counselling.

Pay Counselling Fee

Click on the link that says “Counselling Fee Payment.” Type your Hall Ticket Number and Date of Birth. Pay the fee using card or net banking.

Book Slot for Certificate Check

After paying, you need to book your slot for certificate verification. Pick the date and centre that is near you.

Certificate Verification

Go to the help centre with your original papers and copies. The staff will check your documents and give you a small slip after it’s done.

Register and Fill Options

Login again on the website. Register your name and choose your college and course options in the order you like most.

Seat Allotment Result

Wait for the TS EdCET seat allotment to come. You can download your allotment letter from the same website.

Report to College

Take your allotment letter and all documents to the college you got. Submit them and confirm your seat.

TSEdCET Cut off 2026

The TS EdCET Cut Off 2026 means the least marks you need to pass the exam and get a seat in B.Ed college in Telangana. The cut off marks change every year based on how many people write the exam, how hard the paper is, and how many seats are there.

For General category, you must get at least 25% marks (37 out of 150) to qualify. There is no minimum cut off for SC, ST candidates.
