The Staff Selection Commission recently issued a notice of reviewing the SSC Exam calendar. This can be a precursor to the SSC CGL notification delay. The SSC CGL exam dates can also be altered in the revised calendar. The SSC CGL online applications is also expected to get new dates in case of revised SSC exam calendar

The SSC will be releasing the revised SSC exam calendar soon on its official website- ssc.gov.in. The Commission can change the notification, application and exam dates of various SSC exams. It can also revise the SSC CGL notification and online application dates. See below for more details.

The Staff Selection Commission released its yearly exam calendar in November 2024. As per the official exam calendar, the SSC Combined Graduate Level (CGL) 2025 notification is scheduled to be released om April 22, 2025 that is today. But recently, the Commission released a notice mentioning that the Commission is reviewing the exam calendar and the revised SSC exam calendar 2025 will be released soon.

It can be a pre-cursor to the change in the notification and exam dates of various SSC exams starting from SSC CGL 2025. The Commission can postpone the release of SSC CGL 2025 notification by one week. In addition to that, the Commission can also change the notification and application dates of SSC CHSL and MTS exam because the online application process for all these exams overlap with each other.

The Staff Selection Commission will release the SSC CGL application form 2026 at ssc.gov.in. It is advised to the candidates to read the notification carefully before applying for the exam.

The Staff Selection Commission announced the SSC CGL Result 2025-26 at ssc.gov.in. The exam was held on January 18 and 19. It consists of the information about the candidates roll number of the qualified candidates in the form of PDF.

The Tier 2 cut off for the SSC CGL 2025-26 exam was released at ssc.gov.in along with the result. Also, it was issued category and post-wise for the exam that was held on January 18 and 19.

The SSC CGL cut off 2025-26 for Tier 2 was released on April 8, 2026 along with the final result for Tier 2. The Tier 2 exam was conducted on January 18-19, 2026. It was released category and post-wise cutoff PDF. It was released on the official portal at ssc.gov.in.

No. The Tier 1 marks for the SSC CGL are not used in the preparation of the final merit list. The SSC CGL Tier 1 exam is qualifying in nature. Candidates are shortlisted for Tier 2 exam. However, the final selection and ranking is based on the marks obtained in the SSC CGL Tier 2 exam.
