SSC CGL notification 2025 is expected soon at ssc.gov.in: The Staff Selection Commission will release the SSC CGL notification 2025 soon on its official website – ssc.gov.in. The Commission will release SSC CGL online applications 2025 with the official notification. The candidates should note that the Staff Selection Commission is expected to notify over 10,000 vacancies in the SSC CGL 2025 exam. The last date to apply online for the SSC CGL exam 2025 will be July 4, 2025.

The Staff Selection Commission will mention the SSC CGL application correction dates in the official notification. As per the revises SSC exam calendar 2025-26, the Commission will conduct the SSC CGL tier 1 exam from August 13 to 30, 2025.

How to Apply Online for the SSC CGL 2025 Exam?

The candidates can see below the step to apply online for the SSC CGL exam 2025:

  • Visit the official website of SSC - ssc.gov.in
  • Click on the 'New User? Register Now 'link.
  •  Fill the SSC CGL registration form.
  • Log in to the registered account using the registration number (generated at the time of registration) and password (set at the time of registration).
  •  Fill in all details asked in the SSC CGL application form.
  • Upload scanned images of photos and signatures and other important documents, if applicable.
  • Review the SSC online form carefully and click on the Final Submit button.
  • Pay the application fee of INR 100 in online or offline mode.

Take a printout of the SSC CGL application form for the future reference.

The candidates should note that the application fee for the SSC CGL 2025 exam is different for different categories. The candidates should carefully pay the SSC CGL application fee so that their application form will not be rejected due to the non-payment of application fee.

SSC CGL Age Limit 2025

The candidates can see below the SSC CGL age limit required to apply online for the SSC CGL exam 2025.

SSC Age Limit Corresponding Date of Birth 

Minimum Age Limit - 18 years

Maximum Age Limit – 27 years

Candidate must have been born not earlier than 02-01-1998 and not later than 01-01-2007

Minimum Age Limit - 20 years

Maximum Age Limit - 30 years

Candidate must have been born not earlier than 02-01-1995 and not later than 01-01-2005.

Minimum Age Limit - 18 years

Maximum Age Limit - 30 years

Candidate must have been born not earlier than 02-01-1995 and not later than 01-01-2007.

Minimum Age Limit - 18 years

Maximum Age Limit - 32 years

Candidate must have been born not earlier than 02-01-1993 and not later than 01-01-2007.

Interestingly, the UPSC Civil Service Main exam 2025 will also be conducted from August 22 onwards. So both the exam will overlap on the weekends.
