The SSC CGL posts are the Central Government posts whose service conditions are prescribed by the Union Ministry of Personnel. House Rent Allowance

Dearness Allowance
DA or Dearness Allowance is a cost of living adjustment allowance and is presently 58 pr cent of the basic pay as per the recent government orders.

On March 7, 2024, the Government of Indian increased the DA of the central government employees. As per the Government order, the DA in now increased to 50 % of the basic pay.
