BPSC 2025: 71st CCE Answer Key Out, Send Objections till 27 September

The BPSC 2025 Prelims Answer Key has been released at bpsc.bihar.gov.in. The Bihar Public Service Commission has released the BPSC 71st CCE Prelims Answer Key for all SETS. The candidates can download the BPSC Prelims Answer Key PDF and check their answers to calculate their score. The candidates will be allowed to send objections against any incorrect answers(s) from September 21 to 27. The candidates will be required to pay the objection sending fee against each objection raised. The Commission conducted the BPSC 2025 exam on September 13 in the noon shift, starting from 12.00 PM. fpr 1,298 vacancies. Read below for all important details.

BPSC 2025 Exam

BPSC 2025 71^st CCE Answer Key Out: The BIhar Public Service Commission has released the BPSC 2025 Prelims Answer Key  on its official website. The Commission released the BPSC 71st CCE Prelims Answer Key PDF for all sets of BPSC question papers. The candidates are suggested to download the BPSC 2025 Answer Key PDF here and check their answers as marked in their OMR sheet. The Commission will also open the objection sending facility against the each incorrect answer given in the official answer key. The Commission conducted the BPSC 71st CCE on September 13 across the state in the offline mode.

For sending the objection, the candidates will be required to pay the objection raising fee of INR 250 for each objections to the Commission with the valid proof to substantiate their claim. The objection sending window will open on September 21 and the Commission will accept the objections till September 27, 2025. The candidates will be required to login on the official website with their login and password. 

Earlier the Commission released the revised number of vacancies for the BPSC 71^st Combined Competitive Exam. As per the latest notice, the BPSC 2025 vacancies stand at 1,298. The BPSC 2025 notification was released on June 2 and the last date to apply online for BPSC exam was June 30, 2025. BPSC 2025 Notification

The Bihar Public Service Commission released the BPSC 2025 notification for the 71^st Combined Competitive Exam - Preliminary on May 30, 2025. The Commission mentioned all the important information such as BPSC 2025 vacancies, eligibility criteria, important dates, age limit, syllabus, exam pattern and other important rules and regulations that will govern the exam.

BPSC 2025 CCE Eligibility

To apply online for the BPSC 2025, the candidates must fulfil all the eligibility conditions mentioned in the official notification. The Bihar Public Service Commission mention that the candidate must be a graduate in any discipline to apply for the BPSC 2025 exam.

For the Financial Administrative Officer post: A graduation degree in Commerce, Economics, Mathematics, or Statistics from a recognized university or affiliated institute is required.

The Commission specifically mentioned that the applicants must provide complete information about their graduation or equivalent qualification in the educational qualification section of the BPSC 71st CCE 2025 online application.

BPSC 2025 CCE Age Limit

The Bihar Public Service Commission mentioned the upper and lower age limit in the official notification. The candidates should note that the age of the candidate will be calculated from August 1, 2025. The candidates can see below the age criteria for different BPSC posts.

BPSC 2025 CCE Vacancy

The Bihar Public Service Commission released the number of BPSC 2025 vacancies in the official notification. The Commission released the names of posts and the number of vacancies against each post. The Commission increased the total number of vacancies in the BPSC 71st CCE 2025 to 1,298. Out of these 1,298, 429 BPSC vacancies are reserved for female candidates. This number is tentative and can be increased with time. There are 100 vacancies in the Bihar Administrative Service (BAS) in the BPSC 2025 exam out of which 34 are reserved for female candidates.

How to Register for BPSC 2025 CCE?

The candidates can see below the steps to register for the BPSC exam to get the BPSC OTR number. The candidates have to register for the BPSC exam by filling up a one-page BPSC Registration Form. The candidates can see below the inputs required to get the BPSC OTR.

The BPSC will generate a unique BPSC OTR for the applicant with the corresponding password as mentioned by the candidate. The candidates will be required to log in with such OTR for the BPSC 71^st CCE 2025 application form. The candidates can also link their Digilocker account with BPSC. After the registration, the candidates will be required to fill in the details for the BPSC profile creation.

BPSC 2025 CCE Live Photo Capturing

After filling in the personal and educational information, the candidates will be required to sit for a live photograph captured by the application form. The candidates should follow the below given points below for live photo capturing:

• Keeps his/her face straight and in front of the Webcam
• Look into the Webcam with open eyes.
• Use good lighting and light coloured background.
• Do not wear any headgear such as a cap or power glasses, sunglasses, mask, muffler, helmet etc during live photo capturing
• Make sure that no other person is in the frame

After the photo, the candidates will be required to upload their signature.

Size of Hindi and English Signature for BPSC 2025 Online Application

Hindi and English Signature with a set of instructions like the picture size should be less than 15 kb, width should be between 220 pixels x 100 pixels.

How to Fill BPSC 2025 CCE Application Form?

The Bihar Public Service Commission released the BPSC 2025 notification on May 30, 2025. As per the notification, the BPSC 71^st CCE online applications 2025 can be filled out on the BPSC online application portal - bpsconline.bihar.gov.in. The candidates applying for the first time for any BPSC exam need to register on the official website to get their One-Time Registration (OTR) number.

The candidates have to log in with their BPSC OTR and password. After logging in, the active applications/advertisements will be visible to them. The candidates will be required to fill in all the information as asked in the BPSC 2025 online application form.

After completing the above details, the candidates will be required to pay the BPSC 71^st CCE 2025 Application Fee as per their category.

In addition to the above, the candidates will be required to pay the Biometric fee of INR 200 for every exam they want to appear. The candidates who provide their Aadhaar Number as the identity card need not pay the Biometric fee.

BPSC 2025 Syllabus

The Bihar Public Service Commission is expected to conduct the BPSC 71^st CCE Prelims 2025 on September 13, 2025. The Commission mentioned the official BPSC 2025 syllabus in its official notification. The candidates can see below the topics mentioned in the BPSC 2025 syllabus for the prelims exam.

• General Science.
• Current events of national and international importance.
• History of India and salient features of the history of Bihar - Social, Economic and Political aspects will be asked.
• General Geography and geographical division of Bihar and its major river systems with special emphasis on Social and Economic Geography
• Indian Polity and Economy and major changes in the economy of Bihar in the post-independence period - Political Structure, Panchayati Raj Institutions, Community Development and Planning in India concerning Bihar.
• Indian National Movement and the part played by Bihar in it.
• Questions on General Mental Ability.

The Commission can ask any type of questions from the above-defined topics.

BPSC 2025 CCE Exam Pattern

The candidates should note that there will be a multiple-choice question paper in the BPSC 2025 prelims exam. There will be 150 questions in the BPSC 2025 CCE Prelims exam. The candidates will be required to mark the correct answer in the OMR sheet provided by the Commission. There is a provision for negative marking in the BPSC 2025 prelims exam.

Negative Marking in BPSC 2025 CCE Prelims

The candidates should note that there is a provision for negative marking for each incorrect answer marked in the OMR sheet. As per the official notification, for each incorrect answer, the Commission will deduct 1/3 marks (from the aggregate) of the marks assigned for the correct answer.

BPSC 2025 Marking Scheme

BPSC 2025 Main Exam Pattern

The General Hindi paper is qualifying only and the candidates are required to score 30% marks to qualify in it.
