The National Testing Agency (NTA) successfully conducted the CSIR NET exam for the December 2022 and June 2023 merged cycles from June 6 to 8, 2023. The CSIR NET exam has been concluded at 12:00 noon on June 8, 2023. The exam was taken for Physical Science, Earth, Atmospheric, Ocean, and Planetary Sciences on the last day of the exam.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) conducted the CSIR NET 2023 for Physical Science, Earth, Atmospheric, Ocean, and Planetary Sciences. In this article, CSIR NET June 8 Exam Analysis has been provided in this article immediately after the conduction of the CSIR NET 2023 exam.

CSIR NET June 7 Exam Analysis

The National Testing Agency (NTA) conducted the Day 3 exam of the CSIR NET 2023 exam. On June 8, CSIR NET exam was conducted for  Physical Science, Earth, Atmospheric, Ocean, and Planetary Sciences. Exams for all the papers were conducted in the first shift form 9:00 am to 12:00 pm. CSIR NET exam was conducted by NTA in CBT mode for 3 hours. Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) NET (also known as CSIR UGC NET) is a national-level exam conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) to determine the eligibility of candidates for Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and for Lectureship (LS)/ Assistant Professor in the universities and colleges of India.

CSIR NET June 8 Exam Analysis-  Physical Science

The CSIR NET Physical Science Question Paper 2023 consisted of 75 questions divided among 3 parts- Sections A, B, and C. Candidates were required to answer 15 in Part A, 20 questions in Part B, and 10 compulsory questions in Part C. The remaining questions were of higher value and had more weightage than the remaining section. The marks per question in the sections were 2, 3.5, and 5, respectively.

CSIR NET Exam Pattern 2023 for Physical Sciences

CSIR NET Physical Sciences paper contains 75 MCQs out of which candidates need to attempt 55 questions. Each question in Part A carries two marks weightage and each question in Part B and C carries a weightage of 3.5 and five marks, respectively. CSIR NET Exam Pattern 2023 for Earth Sciences

In the CSIR NET Earth Sciences paper, candidates need to attempt a total of 75 MCQs combinedly from Part A, B and C. Each question in Part A and B carries two marks and each question in Part C carries four marks. The preparation for the CSIR NET exam depends upon the candidate to candidate. Generally, it is considered that with the right guidance and structured approach 6 to 12 months are enough for the CSIR NET preparation. Proper dedication and structured approach also plays a crucial role.

Generally, the good score in the CSIR NET exam is considered as 120+ out of 200 for JRF General category candidates and for Lectureship 90 to 110 range. This can vary year to year.
