The National Testing Agency (NTA) is conducting the CSIR NET 2023 for Chemical Science & Mathematical Science on June 7, 2023. In this article, CSIR NET June 7 Exam Analysis has been provided in this article immediately after the conduction of the CSIR NET 2023 exam.

CSIR NET June 7 Exam Analysis

The National Testing Agency (NTA) is conducting the Day 2 exam of the CSIR NET 2023 exam. On June 7, CSIR NET exam is being conducted for Chemical Science & Mathematical Science. The CSIR NET Chemical Science has been conducted by NTA in Shift-1 i.e., 9:00 am to 12:00 noon and Mathematical Science will be conducted by NTA in Shift-2 i.e., 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm. CSIR NET exam was conducted by NTA in CBT mode for 3 hours. In this article, we have provided CSIR NET exam analysis, difficulty level & good attempts.

CSIR NET June 7 Exam Analysis- Chemical Science

CSIR NET Chemical Science exam was conducted by NTA from 9:00 AM till 12:00 Noon. The exam is of 3 hours and consists of 200 marks. Part A contains 20 questions with a weightage of 30 marks. Part B consists of 40 questions of two marks each, with a weightage of 80 marks. Part C consists of higher-value questions that test the candidate's knowledge of scientific concepts and their application. This section contains 60 questions of four marks each, with a weightage of 120 marks. CSIR NET Exam Analysis for Chemical Science has been provided here immediately after the conduction of CSIR NET exam.

CSIR NET Exam Pattern 2023 for Chemical Sciences

In the CSIR NET Chemical Sciences paper, candidates need to attempt a total of 75 MCQs combinedly from Part A, B and C. Each question in Part A and B carries two marks weightage and each question in Part C carries four marks. There is a negative marking of 25 per cent for wrong answers. No. The syllabus of CSIR NET is the same for JRF (Junior Research Fellowship) and Lectureship (Assistant Professor). The difference that lies is only in the cut-off marks and not in the syllabus.

To pass the CSIR NET 2025 exam, candidates must score a minimum of 33 per cent in the General, EWS, and OBC categories and 25 per cent in the SC, ST, and PwD categories for both fellowship and Lectureship/Assistant Professor.

As per the official website, stipend of a JRF selected through CSIR-UGC National Eligibility Test (NET) will be Rs 37,000/ p.m for the first two years. In addition, annual contingent grant of Rs. 20,000/- per fellow will also be provided to the fellow.
