The National Testing Agency (NTA) is conducting the Day 2 exam of the CSIR NET 2023 exam. On June 7, CSIR NET exam is being conducted for Chemical Science & Mathematical Science. The CSIR NET Chemical Science has been conducted by NTA in Shift-1 i.e., 9:00 am to 12:00 noon and Mathematical Science will be conducted by NTA in Shift-2 i.e., 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm. CSIR NET June 7 Exam Analysis- Chemical Science
CSIR NET Chemical Science exam was conducted by NTA from 9:00 AM till 12:00 Noon. The exam is of 3 hours and consists of 200 marks. Part A contains 20 questions with a weightage of 30 marks. Part B consists of 40 questions of two marks each, with a weightage of 80 marks. Part C consists of higher-value questions that test the candidate's knowledge of scientific concepts and their application. This section contains 60 questions of four marks each, with a weightage of 120 marks. CSIR NET Exam Pattern 2023 for Chemical Sciences
In the CSIR NET Chemical Sciences paper, candidates need to attempt a total of 75 MCQs combinedly from Part A, B and C. Each question in Part A and B carries two marks weightage and each question in Part C carries four marks. There is a negative marking of 25 per cent for wrong answers.
