CSIR NET 2026 June Life Science Anaysis: The National Testing Agency (NTA) conducted the CSIR UGC NET 2026 exam for the June session on July 17 for subject Life Science in the first shift. CSIR NET June Life Science Exam Analysis 2026: Student Reactions & Topics asked (Shift 1, July 17)
As per the feedback received from the students, todays Life Science exam overall difficulty level is Moderate. Questions asked from Plant Physio were more and were simple. Ecology was also asked more. General Aptitude asked in the examination was moderate. Molecular Biology questions were also asked. Questions from molecular biology asked were from transcription, m RNA processing, etc.
The exam overall was not lengthy as compared to the previous session.
- Part A was easy from a conceptual perspective. Calculation based questions were a bit time consuming.
- Part B was of moderate difficulty and questions asked were from the prescribed syllabus.
- Part C was the most challenging section as it consists of analytical and application based questions. But it was also not lengthy.
Overall the whole paper was manageable.

The CSIR NET exam consists of five subjects some of them are Maths, Physical Science, Chemical Science, etc. Part A in the exam is common for all candidates and Part B and C is subject-specific. Candidates need to select one subject and prepare well to clear the examination.

Yes. The admit card for the CSIR NET 2026 June session was released on the official portal at csirnet.nta.nic.in on July 13. The exam will be held on July 17 and 18.
