Common University Entrance Test (CUET) UG is a common platform for University admissions. CUET offers merit-based admissions reducing the reliance solely on class 12th marks. To ace the CUET 2026 examination, NCERT books are the fundamental source, especially for Arts, Commerce, Science and Engineering domain subjects. NTA offers 23 domain subjects, 13 languages and General test, from which candidate can choose upto five subjects. While preparing for CUET exam one of the most common questions is Is CUET based on Class 12th Syllabus? Since the CUET UG 2026 syllabus is in line with the Class 12 Board exam syllabus, it can be safely assumed that the NCERT books are enough to clear CUET UG 2025 exam.
