CUET Sanskrit Syllabus 2026 is available on official NTA CUET UG website. NTA releases CUET syllabus for all languages, domain subject and General Test for UG entrance examination. Sanskrit is one of the required CUET domain subjects for admission to B.A. (Hons) in Sanskrit, Shastri Hons, and similar courses offered by CUET colleges like Delhi University, Central Sanskrit University, and Banaras Hindu University. Before starting preparation, candidates must download CUET syllabus 2026 to know what topics to cover. Candidates can download the syllabus PDF without any prior registration.

The CUET UG 2026 will be administered between May 11 and May 31, 2026, in Computer-Based Test mode. Q:   is it enough to learn from NCERT textbooks to clear CUET?
A: 

Since the CUET UG 2026 syllabus is in line with the Class 12 Board exam syllabus, it can be safely assumed that the NCERT books are enough to clear CUET UG 2025 exam. Candidates must note that, CUET exam tests students' understanding of the concepts and ability to apply them in various situations. Therefore, to prepare well and get a good score, it is advised that students refer to other study materials and books designed for national level competitive entrance exams. The CUET UG syllabus is in tune with the Class 12 Board exam syllabus. The chapters and topics are similar to Class 12 syllabus. Unlike other UG entrance exams, CUET UG syllabus does not include Class 11 syllabus.

Q:   Is CUET syllabus based on CBSE syllabus?
A: 

No, CUET syllabus is not based on CBSE syllabus as claimed by Education Ministry in Rajya Sabha. The CUET exam is designed to assess the general understandig of the candidate in subjects he/she has opted for. CUET UG is on of the biggest UG entrance exam carnival conducted for admission in cebtral, state, private and deemed universities.

Yes, there is negative marking in CUET UG exam. For every wrong answer, the question will attract negative one mark. Candidates must be careful while answering the questions to avoid any negative marking.

No, candidates can raise objections after the CUET result has been declared. NTA calculates the final CUET score based on final answer key. CUET revised answer key is released after evaluating the objections raised by the candidates after the released of provisional answer key.

Yes, Allahabad University acceptes the CUET scores for admissions to its UG programmes.  The accepted entrance examinations are CUET, JEE Main, and others. No, CUET exam is not compulsory to take admission in different programmes at Lucknow Institute of Pharmacy. The college offers admission in the UG and PG courses based on merit in last qualifying exam. They just have to fulfil the eligibility criteria.

If the students are done registering for the CUET UG exam, they should wait for the exam date to release. Then, appear for the entrance exam and register on the DU CSAS portal. Only then, students can apply for their preferred course and college. At the end, pay the fee and seal your admission.
