CUET Sanskrit Syllabus 2026 is available on official NTA CUET UG website. NTA releases CUET syllabus for all languages, domain subject and General Test for UG entrance examination. Sanskrit is one of the required CUET domain subjects for admission to B.A. (Hons) in Sanskrit, Shastri Hons, and similar courses offered by CUET colleges like Delhi University, Central Sanskrit University, and Banaras Hindu University. Before starting preparation, candidates must download CUET syllabus 2026 to know what topics to cover.

Q:   is it enough to learn from NCERT textbooks to clear CUET?
A: 

Since the CUET UG 2026 syllabus is in line with the Class 12 Board exam syllabus, it can be safely assumed that the NCERT books are enough to clear CUET UG 2025 exam. Candidates must note that, CUET exam tests students' understanding of the concepts and ability to apply them in various situations. Therefore, to prepare well and get a good score, it is advised that students refer to other study materials and books designed for national level competitive entrance exams. The CUET UG syllabus is in tune with the Class 12 Board exam syllabus. The chapters and topics are similar to Class 12 syllabus. Unlike other UG entrance exams, CUET UG syllabus does not include Class 11 syllabus.

No, CUET syllabus is not based on CBSE syllabus as claimed by Education Ministry in Rajya Sabha. The CUET exam is designed to assess the general understandig of the candidate in subjects he/she has opted for. CUET UG is on of the biggest UG entrance exam carnival conducted for admission in cebtral, state, private and deemed universities.

Candidates preparing for CUET UG exam must check the detailed CUET syllabus and CUET question paper to become familiar with the important topics and type of questions asked in the exam.  

Q:   Is CUET UG 2026 syllabus released?

Yes, CUET UG 2026 official syllabus has been released. NTA uploaded the CUET 2026 syllabus PDFs online at cuet.nta.nic.in. Candidates preparing for CUET 2026 exam can download the CUET syllabus. The CUET syllabus is based on class 12th NCERT curriculum. Candidates must prepare well from the class 12th syllabus to ace the entrance examination.

Q:   Does the CUET syllabus also include chapters from Class 11?
A: 

No, class 11th subject syllabus is not included in CUET UG exam. Students who are preparing for CUET 2026 exam must focus on class 12th NCERT curriculum. NTA prescribes the CUET UG syllabus on its official website. Candidates must be familar the detailed syllabus mentioned on the NTA CUET official website- cuet.nta.nic.in. However, for better concepts clarity, candidates may refer to the class 11th resources.

NTA CUET 2026 exam will be scheduled in May/June 2026 tentatively. Candidates preparing for board examinations must prepare well for the CUET exam along.

Q:   How many exams do I have to give for CUET? Is the syllabus different from class 12th?

Candidates have to appear for number of subjects chosen for CUET exam. Students can opt for maximum five CUET subjects. Candidates must have selected the CUET subjects based on the course criteria they desire to pursue. CUET UG syllabus is similar to class 12 NCERT curriculum. Yes absolutely. CUET is required only for Delhi University colleges. Most private B.Com colleges in Delhi NCR like Amity, Sharda, Bennett, and GD Goenka either conduct their own simple entrance test or offer direct admission based on your 12th marks — so CUET is not the only route.

No, SAGE University, Bhopal does not mention CUET-UG as an alternative to SEE for BBA admissions. Thus, candidates who have a valid score of CUET-UG are still required to appear in the SEE to qualify for BBA admissions at SAGE University, Bhopal.

No my dear if you want to pursue B.Tech or engineering degree then you have to write and qualify JEE or state engineering entrance examination. For eg I wrote MHTCET as I'm from Maharashtra

No, CUET is not compulsory for admissions in the institute. The UG admissions are based on Class 12 marks. Students have to fill the application form on the Rajasthan University official website. The university allocates seats in all courses on the basis of merit scores.

Goel Group of Institutions BPharma selection criteria does not mention any other entrance exams which are accepted for admission to this course. Thus, candidates can assume that they cannot join the BPharma course of Goel Group of Institutions without gtting a valid score in CUET-UG.
