Amity University has released the placement details for its School of Engineering and Technology batch 2025. Over 110 companies visited the campus during the 2025 drive. The highest package was recorded at INR 35.9 LPA and the average salary stood at INR 9.6 LPA. Further, the median salary offered by companies was INR 6 LPA. The PhD admissions to the Institute Assistantship courses at IIT Guwahati require candidates to appear for the GATE or CEED.

The total tuition fee for VIT Vellore BTech ranges between INR 4.9 lakh and 7.8 lakh. The total course fee, includes a caution deposit of INR 3,000 as well. The fee will vary as per the specialisation selected by the candidates. IIT Hyderabad PhD tuition fees is INR 1 lakh for the academic year 2026. This component is charged on per semester basis at INR 10,000, each for all PhD courses. For external category students, the PhD course fees at IIT Hyderabad is INR 3.5 lakh.

The cutoff marks of Guwahati University vary from course to course. The university has provided minimum qualifying cutoff marks for admission to a majority of courses offered by Guwahati University. Candidates must have at least 45 percent aggregate in their UG programme to become eligible for the PG programme. Cut off are different when it comes to other categories or female candidates and even domicile of home state. In All India, opening and closing rank for female candidates was 29862 and 33071. Admission to Civil Engineering in NIT Surathkal is based on the scores obtained in the JEE Main entrance exam. Applicants are advised to confirm what category are they applying while checking for cut offs.

No, GATE is not a mandatory entrance exam for IIT Patna PhD admissions. To become qualified for IIT Patna course admission to the PhD course, candidates can also appear for the UGC NET as well. 

However, candidates with an appropriate CGPA in their BTech course from a Centrally Funded Technical Institutes can get direct admissions into the IIT Patna PhD course.
