NTA will release the CUET admit card 2026 online. Candidates will be able to download their admit cards online at cuet.nta.nic.in. The admit card will be available for download in PDF document and is a mandatory document to be carried to the exam centre. Prior to the release of the CUET UG admit card, NTA will release the advance intimation of exam city slip. It is not the admit card, but will inform candidates about the city. After downloading the CUET UG 2026 admit card, candidates will have to check all the details carefully and ensure that there is no mistake. In case of any error, they will have to contact NTA to get the necessary corrections done.

On release of the CUET city intimation slip and CUET admit card, no request for change in exam centre will be entertained. Allotment of candidates to the Shift will be based on the options exercised and technical and administrative considerations. CUET 2026 admit cards will be issued for each shift based on the components opted by candidates. No request for change of date/shift will be entertained. Candidates will be alloted the CUET exam centre as per the preferences filled by them during the registartion process. Candidates are advised to fill the CUET application form details carefully. CUET exam is conducted in more than 200 exam centres across India. 

Candidates are advised to immediately contact the officials and the conducting body if the candidate is not able to download their CUET UG 2026 admit cards online. The contact details will be provided on the official exam website and the information bulletin as well, when released. At the same time, candidates must ensure that they must complete the CUET 2026 application process carefully along with the payment of CUET application fee. Unless candidates have completed their application process successfully, candidate will not be issued the admit card for CUET UG 2026.

Choice of CUET exam centre cities will be limited to the State of permanent address or State of present address only. In case there are very few candidates from a city, the NTA reserves the right to merge one, two, or more cities.

CUET 2026 exam will be held in May-June 2026 in computer based mode over a month window. The exam will be held across more than 300 exam cities in India. Candidates will be able to know the alloted exam centre on issuance of CUET intimation slip or CUET admit card.

If there is a mistake or an error on the CUET admit card, candidates are advised to contact the officials immediately well before the CUET exam. They must ensure that the changes are done at the earliest and the rectified CUET UG 2026 admit card is issued before the exam day. In case the candidate name or its spelling and photograph does not match with that of the photo identity card, then candidates will not be allowed to enter the exam centre. Hence, test takers must crosscheck the CUET 2026 admit card and ensure the accuracy before leaving for the exam centre. Prior to visiting the exam centre, candidates must ensure that the correct details are printed on the admit card, otherwise it may result in the cancellation of the candidature. NTA will update the CUET 2026 admit card in due course of time and the records too.

Registered candidates will be able to download the CUET UG 2026 admit card till the date of examination. Candidates can login on NTA CUET portal cuet.nta.nic.in and download the admit card. Applicants must ensure to take the print of the CUET UG 2026 hall ticket and carry the document on the day of examination. CUET UG 2026 admit card will be releases tentatively in second week of May 2026.

To appear for the CUET UG exam, candidates must ensure to follow the below mentioned dress code:

• Candidates must not wear long sleeve clothes.
• Candidates wearing cultural/customary dress must report at the CUET exam centre one hour before the reporting time. 
• Candidates must wear slippers or sandals with low heels. Shoes will not be permitted inside exam centre.
• In case of any circumstances, candidates must take the approval of NTA before the release of CUET admit card.

Candidates must reach alloted CUET exam centre two hours before mentioned exam time. Candidates must complete verification process and take their seats immediately after opening of examination hall. If the candidates does not report at alloted CUET exam centre on time due to traffic, delay in transport, they will miss out on important instructions to appear for the exam.

National Testing Agency also known as NTA releases the CUET UG admit card. NTA releases the CUET hall ticket for each session seperately.
