PTET 2023 Exam

PTET 2023 exam is being held on May 21 (Sunday). For this academic session, Rajasthan PTET exam is being held by Guru Govind Tribal University, Banswara, the exam conducting body. The teaching entrance exam is conducted to provide admission to students in 4-year BA BEd/BSc BEd and 2-year BEd courses. Rajasthan PTET admit card for both these courses were released on May 15 and is available for download till May 21, the exam day. Candidates appearing for the exam are required to visit the official website of PTET: ptetggtu.com to download the admit card. As it is the PTET exam day, candidates should know about the all the important rules and guidelines related to PTET exam 2023.

Q:   When will the PTET exam dates be released?
A:

The PTET 2025 counselling exam dates for Phase-II are already released. Candidates can keep track of the official website as well as Shiksha.com for the latest events on PTET 2025. Candidates who paid INR 5,000 during first counselling but did not get a seat can participate; allocation will be based on merit, faculty, and category. Candidates are advised to keep tracking this page for the latest updates.

Q:   When will the Rajasthan PTET 2024 exam be conducted?
A:

As per the past year exam dates of the the Rajasthan PTET. The BEd entrance exam for 4-year BA BEd/BSc BEd and 2 year BEd courses is expected to be conducted in June 2025 by the exam conducting body. Rajasthan PTET exam is held for both 4-year BA BEd/BSc BEd and 2 year BEd courses. Results for PTET 2025 exam will be released at the official website of the exam. After the Rajasthan PTET result, successful candidates were supposed to participate in the PTET counselling process which was held at the official website of the Rajasthan PTET. Candidates are supposed to check the complete Rajasthan PTET Counselling schedule at the official website of the exam as well as on Shiksha page.

Q:   At what time PTET exam be held?
A:

Rajasthan PTET 2025 exam will be conducted tentatively in June 2025. The PTET exam will be conducted for 4 years BA BEd/BSc BEd and 2 years BEd courses. PTET exam is being held to provide admission to candidates in B.Ed courses. Before applying for the Rajasthan PTET exam, candidates were supposed to check the eligibility criteria for the Rajasthan PTET exam.

PTET exam timings are 11: 00 AM to 2: 00 PM.

  • Candidates who have registered for the PTET exam need to reach the centre till 9:00 AM.
  • Candidates must have the following documents at the exam centre: Admit card and Photo Identity Proof (Aadhar Card/ Driving License, Voter ID Card) 
  • Candidates are required to read all the details on their admit card beforehand.
  • Students need to bring Black Ball Pen to fill OMR.
  • After the examination, candidates are required to return the question booklet and OMR to the invigilator.
  • Candidates need to bring only a transparent water bottle to the exam centre.
  • Students should wear only short-sleeved shirts with open footwear for the exam.
  • Candidates are suggested to sit only on your allotted seat.
  • Moreover, candidates are required to check PTET -2023 website regularly for authentic information.

DONT's for PTET 2023 Exam

Candidates can follow some of the important rules to be followed by candidates appearing for PTET exam 2023:  

  • Candidates should not carry any electronic and communication device like Cellphone, Bluetooth, Earphones, Microphones, Smartwatch etc. at the exam centre.
  • Candidates should not carry any wallet, goggles, handbags, or pouches.
  • Students will not be allowed to carry any eatables to the exam centre.
  • Candidates will not be allowed to enter in full-sleeved dress, ornaments, jewellery, or shoes at the exam centre.
  • In the exam hall, candidates will not be allowed to exchange anything with any other student.
  • Candidates are suggested to not believe in rumours and to not spread rumours.

Candidates appearing for the PTET 2025 exam are required to carry a valid and original photo ID proof, photo ID proof, Aadhar Card, PAN Card, Voter ID Card, Passport, Driving License, etc., along with the admit card.

Q:   Can I carry mobile phone at the exam centre?
A:

No, candidates are not allowed to carry mobile phone at the PTET exam centre. Candidates will not be allowed to enter the examination hall if they carry their mobile phone or any other electronic of magnetic devices like smart watch, bluetooth earbuds, calculator etc. Candidates can check the exam brochure/admit card for complete details related to exam.

The toppers for the Rajasthan PTET 2025 exam have not been publicly announced as of August 2025. You can find the official results and information on the Vardhman Mahaveer Open University website and by signing in with your roll number and application ID to download your scorecard.

No, the PTET  (Pre-Teacher Eligibility Test) OMR sheet cannot be sent for rechecking or re-evaluation, as there is no provision for it. The results based on the OMR response are considered final, and candidates are advised to mark their answers carefully during the exam to avoid errors
