Annamalai University BTech course admissions are facilitated via the TNEA counselling process. The applications for the test can be submitted online. STEP 1: Annamalai University BTech Application Process 2025

The application process is the first step of the admission process. The application forms are made available on the official website of the university. Once that is done, they should click on the 'Apply Now' button and fill out the registration form. After that, log in to the student account and fill out the application form.

STEP 2: TNEA Counselling

Once the university-level form is submitted, apply for the TNEA counselling. It is conducted by Anna University.

STEP 3: Seat Confirmation

Place for placement VSB Engineering College.

Placements: Each student gets 2-4 offers from various companies, and the placement is 100 percent. There are many companies that take students from our college, and last time the company Capgemini took over more than 700 students from VSB Engineering College located in Karur.

Infrastructure: There is a good infrastructure in hostels. They provide routers for students to use free Wi-Fi. In the hostel, they provide a bed with bedsheets for each student and cupboards with blocks, and the routine is different from other colleges. There are strict rules for the hostel that everyone should follow.

Faculty: Each teacher is expected to teach their subjects, and they also offer NPTEL. Every teacher has good experience, and their teaching methods are easily understandable. VSB college offers both undergraduate courses and postgraduate courses, and they have good teachers.

Other: In this college, the crowd is low because the faculty can see us and they can easily correct our errors or mistakes we make.

Annamalai University review.

Placements: The placement was good, but not with very big companies. You can't get a good job with a decent package. I'm just studying in third year, so I don't know much about placements. But our college has good placements. The faculty members provide hands-on practice instead of just theories a lot, so it helps you upgrade your skills and get placed easily.

Infrastructure: Good infrastructure in college, old but in good condition. Nice architecture and a good environment for study. Hostel quality is poor, not so hygienic and clean. If you want to join the hostel, think twice before joining. Most of the students get skin problems because of the bad water and unhygienic environment in the hostel.

Faculty: Exams will be easy, all the questions will come from what the staff teach you during class time. So don't worry about the exams; you can easily get good scores, there will be two mid exams before the semester, so it will help you get ready for the semester exams with full potential.

Other: This college is old and well-recognized. This college has a good name.

Decent academy support with a good campus, but needs more practical exposure.

Placements: Around 60%-70% of students from the B.E. Civil course got placed. The highest package offered is around 6 LPA, the lowest is around 2 LPA, and the average is about 3.5 LPA. Top recruiters include NGOs, media houses, and educational firms. Around 50% of students got internships in companies like Tech for India, Times Group, and local startups. Common roles include content writers, research assistants, and HR trainees.

Infrastructure: The college provides good facilities for our department, including smart classrooms, fast Wi-Fi, and well-equipped computer labs. The library is quiet and stocked with useful study material. Hostels are clean and have basic amenities. The food in the mess is average, while the canteen offers a better variety. Medical help is available on campus with a health center. Sports facilities, such as a playground and indoor games, are provided to encourage student recreation. Overall, the infrastructure is decent and supports both academics and student life well.

Faculty: The teachers are well-qualified, supportive, and knowledgeable in their subjects. The teaching quality is good, with practical examples and regular doubt-solving sessions. The course curriculum is up-to-date and industry-relevant, which helps in preparing students for real-world challenges. Semester exams are moderately difficult but manageable with regular study. The pass percentage is decent, with most students clearing their exams on time.

Other: I chose the B.E. Civil Engineering course for its broad subject options and scope for learning. The best part is the supportive faculty and flexible curriculum. I wish there were more practical activities. The campus crowd is friendly, events are lively, and the college is well-connected. Scholarships are also available.

Placements: 90% of students got placed in our college. The highest salary package offered is 12 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 3 LPA. Top recruiting companies are L&T, Tata Projects, and NCC Limited. Top roles offered are site engineer, project manager, and structural engineer. 65% of students got internships.

Infrastructure: Our college has provided facilities and infrastructure. Everyone can use the internet. It has a huge central library. Classrooms are good, clean, and hygienic. The labs are good. Hostel facilities for both girls and boys are good, and the food served is good. The canteen is also available.

Faculty: Faculty members are well-trained and well-educated. Faculty members here are well-disciplined. Faculty members in our college are friendly. They clarify our doubts. The curriculum is relevant to the subject. Semester exams are easy to pass, and 70% is passing percentage.

This college has very good infrastructure and friendly faculty members.

Placements: The placement is good, but not many core companies are there for placement. But Infosys, Tech Mahindra, IBM, and TCS are coming for recruitment activities, not only in the IT department but also in the core sector, with a good LPA. This is completely based on seniors who are placed.

Infrastructure: This college has very well-equipped workshops, a library, and labs, but the hostel is not recommended because of the hostel's food and room facilities. The campus is liberal for studies and extracurricular activities. There is a well-organized central library.

Faculty: Teachers are highly knowledgeable about the subject and helpful to us. Their curriculum is not similar to other colleges, but it gives in-depth knowledge about engineering or any other course you study.

Annamalai University BE Scholarship 2025

Candidates pursuing a BE degree from Annamalai University can avail of government scholarships. To avail AU BE scholarships, candidates need to fulfill the minimum eligibility criteria set by the university. Given below are the different types of Annamalai University scholarships:

First Graduate Tuition Fee Concession: Under this scheme, the government of Tamil Nadu will grant tuition fee concessions to candidates who will become the first graduate in a family. From the year 2013-14 onwards, the tuition fee concession for first graduates has also been extended to the students of Annamalai University.
Post Matric Scholarship: Under this category, the government has ordered to grant of Post Matric Scholarship to SC/SCA/ST candidates whose parental annual income is less than INR 2.50 lakh per annum and to SC/SCA converted Christians whose parental annual income is less than INR 2 lakh per annum.
Higher Education Special Scholarship: This scholarship is only eligible for hostel students belonging to SC/SCA/ST and converted Christian categories, whose annual income from all sources should not exceed more than INR 2.50 lakh per annum.
BC/MBC/DNC Categories Scholarship: This is valid for students belonging to BC/MBC/DNC categories whose parent’s income from all sources is not more than INR 2 lakh per annum.
