Bangalore University admission to several UG and PG courses is based on candidates' performance in entrance exams. The university accepts KCET for BTech admission and PGCET for MBA & MCA course admission. Apart from these, the University also accepts national-level entrance exams such as CAT, MAT, GATE, PG, JEE Main, NATA, GATE, etc. The university does not conduct any in-house entrance examinations.

For admission to BSc courses, candidate should have passed two-year PU exam conducted by the Karnataka PU Education Board or equivalent. 1. Visit the official KEA website, that is cetonline.karnataka.gov.in/kea

2. Click on the 'Admissions' tab from the main menu.

3. From the drop-down menu, choose 'PGCET-2025'

4. From the appearing window, click on the link for Karnataka PGCET results

5. Enter the login credentials, including the PGCET number, followed by hitting the 'Submit' button.

After the results, candidates who qualify for centralised counselling process to be conducted by Karnataka Examinations Authority will be called based on their ranks for the process of document verification. It is advised to the candidates to attend the counselling only if they have the required percentage of marks in the qualifying exam (50 per cent for unreserved categories and 45% for reserved categories).
