Yes, Anna University Chennai offers a four-year full-time BTech course covering several specialisations. The University also offers a full-time BE course for a duration of four years. Both BE and BTech courses are offered at the undergraduate level. The admission cycle for the academic session 2023 is now open for BE/ BTech courses. Anna University offers BTech and BE courses across 12 specialisations and 17 specialisations, respectively.  The University also offers a part-time BE programme in four specialisations. TANCET counselling is conducted around a month after the scorecard download window is closed. TANCET counselling is held in multiple rounds, including publication of rank list, general counselling for MBA and MCA, supplementary counselling for bith MBA and MCA.

Every year Directorate of Technical Education, Chennai invites application from eligible Degree holders for admission to MBA/ MCA courses offered in Government, Government Aided Engineering and Arts and Science Colleges, University Departments of Anna University/ Regional Centres, Annamalai University.

For Anna University undergraduate courses, the minimum eligibility requirement is to pass Class 12 with a minimum aggregate of 45% (40% for SC/ ST candidates). However, Class 12 marks is not enough to apply for Anna University UG courses such as BE/ BTech. Anna University exam dates change every year. In the past two exam sessions, Anna University has been conducting the TANCET exam in March for MBA and MCA courses. For Anna University MBA admission it is mandatory for students to have a bachelor's degree with a minimum aggregate of 50%. Apart from the minimum eligibility requirement, it is also necessary to have a valid Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test (TANCET) score. Candidate must have passed VIII, IX, X, XI & XII Std. from schools situated in Tamil Nadu. Tamil Nadu native candidate who have passed any of the VIII, IX, X, XI & XII Std. or their equivalent exam from schools situated outside Tamil Nadu can also apply. They should produce Original Nativity Certificate. Children of Central Government Employees, irrespective of their nativity, provided their parents or guardians (only if both parents are not alive) have been serving in Tamil Nadu continuously for the past five years can be eligible to apply. Sons & daughters of All India service Tamil Nadu cadre officers are eligible to apply. A Self declaration from the parent in this regard is to be produced. Children of employees in the Public Sector or Government recognised institutions had been working in their organisations for the past five years are also eligible, irrespective of their domicile. Other State candidates who have studied VIII, IX, X, XI and XII Std. in Tamil Nadu are eligible to apply.

According to the guidelines of the university, admission to the BSc course is completely based on Class 12 scores followed by TANCET counselling.
