Why Chandigarh University is great for cybersecurity?
Placements: Placements are good. If a person is dedicated to studies and skill development, placements are not a big issue. There is a minimum criteria you need atleast 7 CGPA for seating in placements. We have seniors there 4th year is just starting, and they are already placed in MNCs with great packages.
Infrastructure: University infrastructure is good actually, its one of the best. You will get the best college life experience here. Hostels are also good except for the mess but you will find the same food problem everywhere so no comparison there. Overall, everything is good.
Faculty: Faculty members are best. They are all very supportive and encouraging except for some teachers, rest everyone is cool. Curriculum is best, you can have extra classes if you want. As of now, we are attending evening classes for DSA trained by 4th year already placed seniors.
Other: I chose this course because I have always wanted to make my career in cyber security, and that is the reason for choosing this specialisation. Curriculum is so good so far. There are daily or weekly events that you can participate in, get insights from industry experts, get hands-on training, and much more. You get a scholarship based on the CUCET test. In extracurricular activities, there is a separate department for it called DACA which has a great deal of extracurricular focus activities. They are mainly responsible for organizing events and stuff.

Placements: Nice opportunity to get a good package placement. Many programs to get internship and a chance to study abroad, and a campus. My course is cybersecurity in collaboration with IBM. We have attended many meetings and received advice from HR at IBM. I can give assurance of placement here if you study yourself and maintain a perfect timetable of B.Tech life.
Infrastructure: Wonderful environment on the campus. World class infrastructure and soothing environment with green surroundings and eco friendly campus. You can get help from your seniors to get guided by them, and you can proceed with your future in the safe hands of Chandigarh University.
Faculty: Best faculty in the world and a friendly environment. Curriculum is based on the focus of placement, and there are many more ways to get internship here. You will get notified when you have a internship in your official email of Chandigarh University, and as per your interest, you can join it.

Placements: About 15% of students get placed in this course. The highest package offered in my course is 11 LPA, and the lowest package is 5 LPA. Top recruiting companies for our course are Google, Microsoft, etc. Almost 55% of students got internships in above-mentioned companies. Top roles offered are analyst and software developers.
Infrastructure: The area of college is spread over 30 acres, and this area is well-organised. The infrastructure is developed and covered with Wi-Fi lanes. Classrooms are covered with smart screens. The library is also covered with Wi-Fi. The hostel provides gym, library, and good food facilities. The campus provides medical facilities. It also organises a sports meet.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. The campus provides good teaching facilities. The college curriculum conducts sessional and semester exams. The course curriculum is relevant, and it makes students industry-ready. Semester exams are not very difficult. Students should score 40% in each subject.
Other: I chose this course because I want to develop my software skills and communication skills. The best thing about this course is that it encourages us to explore the unexplored things. The campus organises fests and extracurricular activities. The campus also provides scholarships based on student marks.

Dissatisfied, because of the faculty, placement, system, and administration. Good in hostel facility
Placements: This course does not offer proper knowledge of information security; it just delivers knowledge of basic cyber security. No cyber security came for placements. There is not enough company for cybersecurity, only for basic computer science engineering.
Infrastructure: The Wi-Fi on campus had good connectivity with dual band 2.5G and 5G, but sometimes it got lag and in hostels it lags most of the time. Good water supply and limited geyser water supply in winters. Duct timing was also limited in the summer. Every time electricity is available.
Faculty: The teachers on campus were all good but lacked the qualified knowledge. The course curriculum was sometimes relevant and sometimes not. But it is enough for students to be industry-ready. The semester examination was the same as the final one and the pass percentage depends on the highest marks .

The college is good and well maintained.
Placements: 85% of students are placed in this course. The highest package is INR 50 lacs, the lowest package is INR 5 lacs, and the average package is INR 15 lacs. The top recruiting companies are Google, Microsoft, Flipkart, and Atlassian. 50% of students got internships in my course.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is good, and facilities provided by the college include wi-fi availability, big classrooms with functional labs, and a library full of books. The hostels are of decent quality in our college, and the availability of food and medical facilities is average.
Faculty: College faculty are well-qualified and knowledgeable individuals. The teaching quality is good. The course curriculum is good, which makes the job ready. The semester is easy, so everyone can pass it with a few preparations; the passing percentage is 33%.
