Balanced academics and campus life with scope for improvement.
Placements: In my course 85 percent students are placed. The highest package is 12 LPA the lowest is 3.5 LPA and average is 6.5 LPA. Top recruiters included TCS Infosys and Wipro. 70 percent students secured internships in companies like TCS Cognizant and PwC. Common roles offered are analyst developer and support engineer.
Infrastructure: Our course has modern labs high speed Wi-Fi smart classrooms and a well stocked library. The hostel provided clean spacious rooms good security and decent mess food with a canteen for extra options. Medical facilities are available round the clock and sports areas like gym courts and fields are well maintained. Overall the infrastructure and hostel environment are comfortable and supportive for students.
Faculty: The faculty is helpful qualified and knowledgeable and the teaching quality is clear and practical. The curriculum is relevant and aligned with industry needs offering good hands on learning. Semester exams are moderate difficult but fair and most students passed with ease with an overall pass percentage of 85 to 90 percent.
Other: I chose this course because it aligned with my interests and offered strong career potential. I appreciated most is the practical learning through labs projects and supportive faculty who guided us well. Placements and industry exposure are also helpful. I wish the course included more updated tools software and extra workshops. The campus has a friendly crowd with enjoyable events fests and active clubs. Connectivity to the city is good and the surroundings felt safe. Scholarship options are available for eligible students. Overall it is a positive and balanced experience with room for improvement.

Bad placement hope and bad management.
Placements: I’m in the 2026 batch, pursuing Bachelors of Engineering in Computer Science. The highest package is always made up for the students who are good to the management. Also, they flex the CTC, not the TC. Nobody tells it actually. The average is 5 LPA. That’s what the top private university in India makes today. It’s very poor. Top recruiters are MAANG. Mostly students got internships for the sake of credit completion, and it is offered from the college which is a setup, they never tell the whole information. The placement percentage is 70 percent due to that. They do this for the image.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure of the course is good, but the management is poor. I hope they invest in good human resources. Hostel facilities are bare minimum and can be improved. Medical facilities are a scam here, and they make bills on you without your acknowledgment.
Faculty: Teachers are not well qualified. The starting semesters are like getting the worst faculty, but later it improves. The course doesn’t make you industry-ready at all. I don’t know which industry they follow. Exams are easy, and passing is 75 percent.
Other: The campus culture is very nice compared to any other college I’ve gone to. Many talented people come here from all sorts of backgrounds. The university can really improve if they focus on quality and management. They allow every student who can afford the university, which weakens the mindset of students. Courses are really good, but faculty needs improvement. Events are very nice. Connectivity is sometimes hard because it’s on the highway. Extracurricular activities are excellent.

Good placement but poor infrastructure and hostels.
Placements: In my particular course, there is a wide scope of placement and many students to get placed also, 30-40 percent of students got placed. The highest has got to 1.5 crores per annum, and the lowest is about 2 LPA-3 LPA. Students do get internship opportunities. There are different roles for which companies come.
Infrastructure: Talking about the infrastructure and hostel, this is a part of my college life, and I don't like it. There is no good quality. The mess food is also not good. There are canteens, which are the only savior present to help from that hostel's mess food. Also, in classes, there is humidity.
Faculty: Some of the teachers are helpful and provide us with a lot of knowledge to learn, but on the other hand, some teachers seem to know nothing. The course curriculum in the 1st year is not good because I don't understand what I will do with the knowledge I gain from learning carpentry and wiring. Semester exams are okay sometimes, but they can also be difficult.

The side of our university that people do know but don't speak about.
Placements: The percentage of students placed is not so good. Firstly, they will remove some students from the drive by giving the CGPA criteria. Then, some by aptitude test, after which you will be able to sit in the drive. Now talking about the highest package, like the rarest, it is approximately 1 crore, but seeing the average or the lowest, both are like 3-4 LPA. Internship getting is also very difficult from the university. Companies came for different roles like data analyst, software engineer and many.
Infrastructure: The facilities they provide are very basic for the amount of fees they charge. The classes are normal and have a lot of humidity in class, and some classes are also smelly. On some floors, the Wi-Fi is also not working, and in the basement, the phone network also doesn't work. The library is so normal, only one in D6 is good, every other is normal. Hostels are very bad, there are no ACs, we only have a cooler, which makes a lot of noise and hostel times are also very restrictive for girls.
Faculty: Teachers are not helpful and are very biased towards their favourite students. They don't even teach well, we won't be able to understand whether they are teaching us or themselves. The curriculum is good, but some courses are a waste of time, and they make them mandatory even though they don't have any value. Getting passed is easy in semester exams, even if you study for 1 day, you can easily pass (but only pass, for good marks, you need to put more effort).

Chandigarh University review.
Placements: Around 30–40% of the students are placed in my batch during campus placements. Around 20% of students get internships in IT companies. The highest package is 13.13 LPA, and the lowest is 2.5 LPA. Top roles offered are Software Developer and Business Analyst.
Infrastructure: The college infrastructure is good. Hostels are nicely built, with spacious rooms and a large mess for each building. Multiple food options are available at reasonable prices. The food quality is decent. There is a sports arena for basketball, football, and other activities.
Faculty: Teachers are not very helpful. You have to figure out most things on your own. Although you get the notes for each unit, you need to study yourself, as most teachers just read the PPTs provided. Semester exams are not very difficult if you read the notes.

Decent infrastructure but poor faculty and outdated curriculum.
Placements: I am from B.E CSE. 25 percent of students are placed with packages between 3.5 to 22LPA. Amazon Infosys and TCS are top recruiters. 30 percent got internship. Core jobs are limited and many of us face low packages. It is dependent on student if they can stand out from the crowd.
Infrastructure: Our CSE department has like normal labs Wi-Fi and classrooms. Some equipment are outdated. Hostels are basic and the mess food is low to average in taste. The medical and sports facilities need improvement. Overall, facilities are fair but maintenance is lacking.
Faculty: CSE faculty is not very helpful and the teaching quality is average. The curriculum is outdated and lacks industry oriented content. Semester exams are often lengthy and tricky but the pass percentage is around 70 to 75 percent. More practical exposure and updated teaching methods are needed.
