Aspirants need to fill out the online form (admission.cusat.ac.in) and submit it for being eligible to take admission. However, the seat allotment for each M.Tech programme shall be on the applicant’s GATE score. Candidates without a GATE exam score can take CUSAT DAT/ Sections A and B exam by the Institution of Engineers (India).

The Cochin University of Science and Technology (CUSAT) offers a 5-year Integrated M.Sc. in Computer Science with specialisation in Artificial Intelligence and Data Science. The course is ideal for students who wish to study in-depth topics of computer Science particularly AI and data science. The course is research-oriented, and students are encouraged to work on technology development and problem-solving. The lecturers adapt their teaching to embed a culture of research. However, some have said that placement opportunities might be less than in more traditional engineering programs possibly due to industrial perceptions about integrated M.Sc. qualifications Prospective students should weigh up their need to do research against potential placement difficulties.

Must have passed 10+2 (or equivalent) with Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics

General category: 50% marks in Mathematics, and 50% in PCM aggregate  Kerala SC/ST: Passing marks are enough  SEBC (Kerala, non-creamy layer): 5% relaxation—so 45% in PCM/Maths 

Age limit: Generally no strict upper age for general B.Tech

Yes, there are hostels exclusively for 1^st year students such as Sanathana boys' hostel for first-year post-graduate (PG) first-year students with intake capacity of 162, as well as Aishwarya, which is a girls' only hostel with an intake capacity of 220 students.

CUSAT Kochi offers BTech course to students at the UG level. It is offered for 4 years in several specialisations. To be eligible for BTech at CUSAT Kochi, candidates must fulfil the eligibility criteria set by the college. Candidates must be Class 12 passed of the state of Kerala or any other examination accepted as equivalent there to with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry as optional subjects with at least 50% marks separately and 50% aggregate (45% aggregate for SEBC candidates of Kerala).
