DIT University admit students to its BA courses through merit counselling based on Class 12 aggregate. To be eligible for admission, a candidate should have passed Class 12 or equivalent from a recognised board with a minimum of 50% aggregate. Students are not required to have any entrance exam score for selection. Eligible students can apply through the university's official website.

DIT University course fee includes multiple components, such as hostel fee, caution money, tuition fee, etc. The one-time fee included in the BA fee structure is INR 15,000. DIT University BTech is a four-year course divided into eight semesters at the UG level. The UG-level course is offered across different specialisations. The university admits candidates to the BTech courses based on JEE scores/merit in Class 12.Some of the specialisations in which the course is offered are Computer Science Engineering, Information Technology,  Petroleum Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, etc. The university also offers lateral entry to BTech courses.

Admission to the BTech course is based on the JEE Main score or Class 12 marks. After completion of the selection rounds, the university releases a merit list to announce the names of the shortlisted candidates. The shortlisted aspirants are called for counselling and document verification. It also offers direct admission to the Class 12 toppers (10% seats). Aspirants need to pay a course fee to confirm their seat in the university. 

Apart from this, the selection criteria for BTech Lateral Entry is merit-based counselling on Diploma/BSc Percentage /UKSEE Score.

The university may not offer direct admission as primarily the selection is merit-based. Thus, the aspirants Class 12 scores are considered.
