DIT Dehradun BA course admission is merit-based. Aspirants who fulfil the eligibility criteria can visit the official website to apply. Shortlisted candidates have to participate in a merit-based counselling process for seat allotment. After document verification and admission fee payment, the seat enrolment is completed. DIT University admit students to its BA courses through merit counselling based on Class 12 aggregate. To be eligible for admission, a candidate should have passed Class 12 or equivalent from a recognised board with a minimum of 50% aggregate. Students are not required to have any entrance exam score for selection. Eligible students can apply through the university's official website.

DIT University course fee includes multiple components, such as hostel fee, caution money, tuition fee, etc. The one-time fee included in the BA fee structure is INR 15,000. In addition, the hostel charges range from INR 4.18 Lacs to INR 5.55 lakh and the tuition fee ranges between INR 1.8 Lacs and INR 2.4 lakh. The university shortlists candidates based on their merit or entrance exam scores. DIT University Dehradun also conducts DUET for shortlisting aspirants for MPharm, M.Tech and PhD courses. The university conducts other selection rounds like GDPI or PI rounds for some of the specific courses. However, for PhD who have a valid score GATE / SET / SLET will be selected based on PI. DIT University BTech is a four-year course divided into eight semesters at the UG level. The UG-level course is offered across different specialisations. The university admits candidates to the BTech courses based on JEE scores/merit in Class 12.Some of the specialisations in which the course is offered are Computer Science Engineering, Information Technology,  Petroleum Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, etc. The university also offers lateral entry to BTech courses.

DIT University has released the mean package for the year 2024. The overall mean package in 2024 was 5.76 LPA. Also, the mean package recorded during SOET, SOC, School of Management and School of Pharmacy was 4.2 LPA, 6.26 LPA, 4.5 LPA and 3.2 LPA.
