Good opportunities for engineering but less opportunities for paramedical courses.

Placements: The average number of students enrolling in this course is usually less than 50 because of lack of knowledge among the students about this course. This is a good course but galgotias university is more focused towards engineering and MBA students. There are very less placement in paramedical field. The students of galgotias are doing internship at great hospitals like LB prasad, kailas, shroff, eyecare etc. The teachers do suggest internship but most of the time you have to search by your own. It's a great college for those pursuing B.Tech.

Infrastructure: As I mentioned, the no. of students are less. So the lab is very small. But yes, they provide good knowledge about the subjects. But the knowledge is more theoretical. Library and classes are well equipped with A. C. There are equipment and instrument in less quantity. So either we are not able to perform the experiment, or we have to wait for our turn. Also the hostel facilities are quite similar to other hostels. There is boys hostel in campus however the girls hostel is not in the campus.

Faculty: 4/5 teachers are helpful, qualified and knowledgeable. The teaching quality matters from teacher to teacher. There are few teachers in optometry department that teach really good. The exams are easy if you pay attention to the classes. They focus more on attendance and there are many exams that are held.

Other: There is a wide scope of optometry. With the increase in technology, the demand of optometrist is increasing. You can see even small kids wearing spectacles. It is an independent profession. You can open your own clinic. You can work as an ophthalmic assist but can't do surgery. But for refraction part, even ophthalmologists take help of optometrists.

The best college because of the faculty members and 100% placements.

Placements: Placements for our seniors were brilliant. The university provides best placements as much as possible. The lowest salary offered was Rs. 20,000 per month. Many companies visit the campus, and the university gives 100% assurance for placement, which is very good to know.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is excellent. The Wi-Fi facility is very good, and you don't have to go outside the campus for your internet works. Labs and classrooms are well-furnished and have centralised AC. There is a sports complex too.

Faculty: The faculty members are more cooperative and helpful in nature. They are qualified as per the requirement of students, and they are knowledgeable too. Friendly behaviour of the faculty makes the students comfortable with them. Students can share anything or any problem with them; they will guide you.

Other: Events and fests are organised for students by the university on time. Scholarships are provided to the needy students. Sports and extracurricular activities are also conducted.
